Stayed 3 nights for the Super Classico (3:2 Barcelona, Messi's 500th goal wins the game! :) Hotel's location is good, right near Principe Pio Metro station. BUT beyond that terrible hotel - staff was not willing to help, rooms were smelly, breakfast greasy, a/c non-effective, towels small, no shampoo, safe (manual) costs extra, need I go on? Avoid if you...

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights great location if you are travelling from the airport via public transport as the train station is across the road with direct trains to the airport. The hotel needs a serious upgrade as if simply looks tired and shabby. There were no major faults with the room other than the fact wifi...

Florida norte is a very basic hotel, the Room is small, the bathroom needs renovations, the elevator is really slow and small. If it is cheaper then other hotels in the are, go for it, a shopping mall and a metro is on the other side of the road, and the city center is 15 minutes walk or 1/2 station...

I took a 3 bedroom room so it was quite big. Lots of TV stations but none in English. There is a big mall especially the Metro.ll nearby with lots of food possibilities and other stuff. All kind of transportation is by that mall, The food is good but everyday it is the same so after 4 days it starts...

Location good and reception staff helpful. Hotel tired 70s style not updated but room and bed clean. Full of children in groups and bus tours. Price excessive. Breakfast basic and certainly not worth the price.

Location is very good (city center, metro is very close) but I agree with others that it is not a four-star hotel, not even one... I'd say it is more like a hostel. Very simple rooms, a bit of "retro" :) but anyway clean. Wi-fi is free - but not working. By having a shower - hot water needs plenty...

We have recently returned from a three day city break in Madrid and was unfortunate enough to have to stay at this hotel. Our friends rooms were not of a good standard, clean but that was about all. My room was the best as we ended up with a Junior Suite which contained a fridge and it was very clean...

We booked this hotel as part of a twin city break Valencia and Madrid. The hotel in Valencia was superb then we arrived at Madrid. Probably the most run down hotel I have ever had to stay in - ever!! I am baffled how it has a 4* rating its more like a hostel. There were parties of teenagers on...

Have just arrived back from a three day stay in this hotel. Could not have stayed any longer. Definitely not a 4 star hotel, more like a hostel. Full of teenagers on college trips. Do not stay in room 223, more like a prison cell with only a small window. Hotel very run down, marks on wallpaper and chips in...

This hotel is supposed to be 4 star, but it only rates a 1 from me. The hotel is popular with school groups and at breakfast it is over-run with groups of young people. I have been staying at hotels of varying quality for many years, and I can honestly say I have never had a worse breakfast! The scrambled...
