Absolutely beautiful hotel. The team are amazing and so accommodating. Spent time showing me the best areas to shop and eat and sightsee as I had an afternoon free. Bedrooms are gorgeous. I had a corner suite on the top floor with a balcony and it was spectacular. The rooftop bar was great with lovely service. The ground floor bar was also amazing with a very experienced team. Breakfast and lunch worth the money.

This is a very nice hotel in the upscale Salamanca neighborhood, a pleasant area. We had a lovely, light-filled deluxe room on the sixth floor facing the front, with a balcony with a table and chairs - it was larger than most of the other balconies I could see which had no seating. The bedroom was good sized, the bathroom was beautifully decorated, a bit cramped, with a single vanity and not much counter space, but it did have abundant natural light. There was a small closet in the bathroom with a couple of shelves, but no drawers anywhere to put clothes. The bedside tables also were chosen for looks rather than functionality, being quite tiny; I would replace them with something to provide some clothes storage and more usable surface space. They did put two USB outlets at each bedside.
Unfortunately, there was a problem with the HVAC in our room. It was a hot summer day, and the A/C kept switching to heat! After multiple calls and attempts to fix it, they gave up and moved us to a suite for our second night. This was a much larger room, the bathroom had a huge double vanity and larger shower, and there was more closet space, but it was on the third floor and faced the small inner courtyard, so it was depressingly dark. It was fine for one evening, we were leaving in the morning, but I really missed the natural light and would not have wanted to stay there for long.
The hotel breakfast was good, a relatively small but adequate selection. They were very accommodating when I asked for a tray so I could take breakfast up to my husband, who was not feeling well. They have a very fancy restaurant for dinner, which we did not try. Room service was good, and when I asked for something not on the evening menu they accommodated that as well. In general, service was excellent.
Since this was not our first time in Madrid, and we weren't doing a lot of sightseeing, the location was fine for us, and it was a short drive to the airport. If I was going to be walking to all the major sights, I might want to choose a location closer to the center, though it was a very pleasant walk from here to Retiro.

It was an unforgettable visit. The attention is unbeatable, Mr. Alberto has given us a cordial, pleasant, attentive, professional and friendly welcome and farewell. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and with great details - from the eau de cologne to the turn-down service chocolates - all EXCELLENT. The breakfast, with a delicate and appropriate presentation, all succulent - especially Mr. Victor's potato omelette in the kitchen - the best we have ever had. The bellboys and waitresses, as well as the restaurant staff (Mr. LamĂn), were all very attentive. The Heritage lives up to its name with classical design and attention to detail in every aspect of the decor. Yet seamlessly integrated into the comfortable and well appointed rooms are USB charging ports and outlets and contemporary shower and vanity fixtures. Wi-Fi is excellent. The included breakfast is a magnificent buffet of cereals, fruits, meats, cheeses and juices accompanied by a generous cook to order menu. The evening menu is likewise superb with a tasting menu, fabulous starters, and a good selection of meat and fish dishes. Service is excellent. The staff throughout is professional, gracious and friendly. Highly recommended!

We spent in this cozy and elegant Heritage Hotel our 5 days trip to Barrio Salamanca in Madrid. The staff is verte kind and answer at the best at any request you will send to them. Breakfast is very good and you can find or ask any thing or food you can imagine: 5 stars at all for this service! Rooms (we lodge in a familiar room thad connect each other two rooms with two bathrooms) are very large and comfortable and housekeeping is precise and efficient. Super charming hotel in the best neighborhood of Madrid (Salamanca) close to the center, but away from the mess. It is, without a doubt, a space that manages to bring together the best of Europe: French comfort and refinement, extremely good-taste decoration by the Spanish Lorenzo Castille and Portuguese premium products: Vista Alegre dishes and cutipol. We have stayed in Relais and Chateaux properties before and we have always had wonderful experiences and this hotel was a great experience too. Excellent check in with a clear run through of the hotels facilities. The hotel staff did all they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable they were very friendly and professional. We were given ample space, in very comfortable rooms and liked the hotel’s quirky decor and atmosphere. The hotel’s location was a slight concern before we arrived and I almost didn’t book this hotel because of the location but taxis are so well regulated in Madrid, reasonably priced and abundant that it wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was excellent and the best eggs Benedict I’ve eaten in years!

This is a lovely hotel in the Salamanca district. The highlight of the hotel is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful on giving pointers for highlights and ways to get around. The architecture and design of the hotel is very attractive, and everything has a luxury feel. There are samples of local cologne in the bathrooms and the towels, linens, and bath supplies are all top tier. The hotel is very quiet for sleeping with modern HVAC systems. This is a refreshing and relaxing place to come to after visiting the sites in Madrid. It was a very special port of our travels in Spain and Portugal.
