Perfect location and a true 5 star. Love the technology in the room and the layout for our 2 boys who had a separate enclosed space making for ideal privacy. Beatriz provided the cherry on-top as I forgot we needed COVID testing before boarding our flight back home. Hours before the flight at 7am, I called her at the front desk and within 2 hours a doctor showed up to take our antigen test. Thanks for everything!
This hotel completely and utterly exceeded our expectations. 10/10. Too many good things to say, where to start... We threw a few curveballs at the staff (room type change at check-in, last minute restaurant booking on a Friday night peak hour, housekeeping request for only a portion of our room and at a certain hour (don't ask why), lost keys) and they handled each one of them graciously with utmost professionalism. Worth noting that this hotel is close to brand new and thus every thing in the room is squeaky clean, and uber quiet (we stayed on the floor immediately below the sky bar and heard absolutely zero noise). The shower is also to die for, with strong water currents, huge shower heads (yes, plural), and very spacious. This totally reminded us of Park Hyatt Tokyo (starred in the movie Lost in Translation) back when it was still brand new, as it gives off the same very high end vibe, but certainly more affordable. Wifi was very fast as well, to the point where I checked work emails seamlessly. Finally, the location was fantastic as well, as you can walk right to the busy Gran Via and within 10 mins walk from the Royal Palace (hence the superb views you get from the rooms). This hotel totally enhanced our experience in Madrid. We very thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay here again on our next visit. Also worth special mentioning is Carlos at the frontdesk - his professionalism and will-do attitude made our stay particularly memorable. The hotel is lucky to have him! We will definitely be back.…
We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights and we got an upgrade , this is a very nice gesture, thank you Carlos! The hotel is newly refurbished so we found everything perfect. The only neg was the fact that the pool in closed , it was so hot in Madrid and I was dreaming to swim in the cool water...but I totally understand that this situation is determined by the covid ,so meanwhile no pool. All the rest was perfect, the staff always ready to help and to give a good advise. Hope to back in better times, till then we wish them good luck!
Fabulous staff; Sophia wonderful concierge; large room with great bathroom facilities. Friendly atmosphere. Quality restaurant Small gym; pool closed; area in disrepair due to rebuilding of park across the street.
This is a nice modern hotel room with decent views of Madrid. If that’s what you looking for it’s perfect. However I’ve marked the hotel down because it what they don’t tell you is that everything comes at an additional cost particularly the gym which I’ve never experienced at €10 per visit and to make things worse it’s a very basic small room “gym”. Moreover the lack of free facilities, the closed open air pool leaves a void of personality and charm ! The strategy to attract repeat clientele needs rethinking.
