Only stayed overnight but found the hotel friendly, clean and comfortable. The room was a good size and the restaurant had excellent service and food. Unfortunately the weather was not good so the outside courtyard bar was not open but I imagine that it would be a relaxing place for a quiet drink. The square on which the hotel is situated has a number of cafes and bars with outside seating and there are a number of restaurants nearby. Would certainly stay there again.

Stayed here on business as the location is close to our offices. Only a 15min walk from the city centre too if you want to walk there. Plenty of restaurants and bars within a few minutes. Decent run across to the park too for any joggers? 25min taxi drive from the airport. Metro station very close by. Reception staff were lovely and checking in process was smooth. Room was spacious for a city centre hotel with a nice big walk in shower. Comfortable bed. Free WiFi. Nice coffee machine but only one capsule in the room? Laptop in room too...interesting approach. Paid mini bar. Safe didn’t work in room? Nice decor. Breakfast very good too. Didn’t have dinner in hotel. Outside bar will be lovely in Spring & Summer. Main area of criticism was the noise from the street late at night and into the early hours with refuse lorries collecting bins & bottles. Other than that...great! Good value too..👍

I often go to Madrid for business. I stayed there only once as the parfum in the common areas revolted my stomach. I don't know how receptionists can stand it. I guess they don't have a choice. The building is nice but the rooms lack a soul. They feel like a dish cooked with no love. Not cosy, no personality, this is normal in Petit Palace range. Location is great. Very close to nice restaurants in Bilbao area. Customer service was helpful. Breakfast was varied and have gluten free options.

Dear Cecilia, First of all I would like to thank you for sharing your opinion with the rest of travelers and of course, for giving us the opportunity to host you in our Petit Palace. I would also like to thank you for your nice words about our customer service and breakfast buffet, both are considered fundamental for us and we are glad to know that you enjoyed them and were satisfied about them as you are also with our location! We have the privilege to be in one of the most trendies neighborhood in Madrid. In the other hand, regarding your opinion about decoration or the parfum, although those are normally positively evaluated from our guests, we understand your opinion since these elements are subjective. As I said, the air freshener of the common areas is usually something that our guest mention, but always in a positive way, I am sorry if this has not been the case, all opinions are taken into account and your words will be also studied. Please, do not hesitate to contact us for anything you may need in the future, we will be always glad to assist you. kind regards Sara Lopez Experience Manager PETIT PALACE SANTA BARBARA

Stayed for 1 night on business. Room was large and clean, shower was good. It was mid November when I was there so we couldn't sit in the square outside, which I imagine is lovely in spring, summer or autumn. I would imagine though that this would make the rooms at the front very noisy. I thought breakfast was expensive for what it was, if I was staying as a tourist I would have skipped the hotel breakfast and found a cafe nearby. I think the location would be very good for tourists.
