We rented a 4 bed private room. It was fairly clean. The staff and people there were fantastic. Fantastic location. Everything very walkable. Would totally recommend it. There is a paella night that was delicious and only 2€. They provide coffee and churos also.
Excellent location, the personal who work there is so nice and gentle they helped me a lot , good rooms and always clean. I would highly recommend this hostel. It was very clean and the location frankly could not be any more convenient. thanks
If the only thing you care about is location, then you will like this hostel. Everything else leaves much to be desired. The rooms/bathrooms were SUPER tiny and the breasfast/coffee was gross. Also, the bed did not even have a fitted sheet on it, so...More

Although you have all the right to criticize our establishment and we even encourage our guests to do so in order to improve our services and their stay, I am afraid this time I will have to disagree with your comment simply because...More
After reading all the really positive reviews, I was so excited to stay at this hostel. And overall, I had a brilliant time in Madrid, but that was predominantly due to the people I met. My welcome was average- was given the key, without explanation...More
I never expect too much when staying in a hostel but I couldn't have asked for more from this one. Perfect location, clean, safe, quiet at night, lovely staff, good social area and kitchen and really well priced. I was here with a friend but...More
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center —
side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.

Take 'C/Magdalena' exit and once above find the BBVA bank on the left corner. Turn to your left into Calle Relatores; we are on the number 17.
You can also get by train (approx. € 3) from airport´s Terminal 4 by taking Cercanias Line C1 to Atocha Renfe station and walk to us from there (15 minutes)
