The entire staff, from the baggage handlers to the lounge employees, deserve all my congratulations. No false notes during my stay: courteous, professional, smiling. The lounge is a plus after the electric atmosphere of Madrid. The staff is pro-active and always smiling. I recommend the junior suite which is very zen. It has a nice lounge area. It is equipped with a Nespresso machine (restocked with capsules every day) and cans of water (free). It is located on the 14th floor and offers all the necessary comfort after cultural visits to Madrid. The Level at Melià Castilla is ideally located (metro nearby and taxis just outside the hotel). It is very close to the city center without experiencing the throes of nighttime hustle and bustle. The only downside; but this cannot be attributed to the hotel, it lies in the behavior of certain guests. Their children run and scream in the hallways. Fortunately, this happened very sporadically. Finally, I wish Piluca all the best for this new year. I didn't have time to tell them before I left. His attentiveness and his sense of customer relations are to be highlighted.

Chose this as a base while attending a wedding in Madrid and we are so pleased we did. This is the best executive level lounge we have ever experienced and this includes stays in gran Meliá and intercontinental hotels. The level check in was personal and professional. It was relaxing and the staff were friendly and attentive. Over the 6 days they became friends and we were sad to say goodbye. ( special thanks to Karen, Pavlina, Maria, Cristina, Elviro, Fermin & Miguel). The food is beautiful, especially the breakfast with the best omelettes and poached eggs. The room was very comfortable with great air conditioning and fantastic housekeeping. Our floor had refurbishment works going on but it did not affect the quality of our stay at all - we heard nothing. The location was perfect for us and we enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of gran via but with the convenience of Cuzco metro being close and line 10 taking you straight to plaza de España. Our new home in Madrid and hope to return later this year.

The Melia Level reception wasn’t particularly well sign-posted, but once we asked how we got to it, and made our way down to the lower level, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality.
Firstly, let me express my gratitude for the incredible upgrade to a Grand Suite which was wonderful! The attention to detail in the design, the spaciousness, and the luxurious amenities truly made our stay unforgettable. And the bed, wow! I’ve never stayed in a comfier bed than this.
The staff were the epitome of professionalism and kindness. The lounge staff were attentive, friendly and cheerful. The ladies on reception were knowledgable and welcoming and the concierge very helpful. We were really made to feel like valued guests.
The pool was closed for the duration of our stay and I think it opens in June so I cannot comment on this.
Location-wise, this is more within the business district and not in the middle of the main tourist attractions, but the centre of Madrid is easily reached by train in minutes.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough when visiting Madrid. Thank you to the entire team for making our time at The Level, Meliá Castilla an unforgettable one.

We all spent a few days as a family (including parents and in-laws) and they couldn't have treated us better. The Level's extras are well worth it, snacks and drinks included, but what stands out is the customer service. The treatment is unbeatable. When we arrived it was before 3 o'clock which is check-in and Monica made all the arrangements to have the rooms before and every time we entered the lounge she asked us how everything was. Pavlina also did everything possible to ensure that we did not lack anything at any time, as with so many people it was difficult to please them! We will return next year and hope to see the same faces that have made our stay so pleasant!

The service is impeccable. The Level lounge is clean and well-equipped, with snacks available as well as a selection of drinks. The workers Paulina, Fermín and Elviro are true professionals who go out of their way to treat the customer well. My experience in the three days I was there could not have been better. From the minute we arrived until the last moment we departed, I was struck by how friendly and efficient all the staff was. The Level Club here was the best we ever experienced (and I’m including a stay at the Gran Melia). Breakfast was ample, and if you wanted something made to order, the staff would oblige. Complementary food and drink were available all day and into the evening. While our room wasn’t huge, it was ample and the bathroom was well designed and full of amenities. The hotel seems to be a favorite for meetings and conventions, and I can see why. Definitely look forward to returning.

The Level and it’s premium quality adjoining room and the hospitality lounge was just perfect for our Saturday -Tuesday stay earlier this week. This coupled with the wonderful staff made this trip a perfect city break. Maria at guest experience guided us from check in to check out. All the Level lounge team providing constant excellent service. To cap the stay, unbeknown to myself I had left my watch in the room on check out and the chamber maid came and found me and returned the watch. Traveling extensively for business and pleasure for 30 yrs this level of honesty and service is very hard to fine. The Level is now our only hotel we will stay at in Madrid. We will be back. As always, the staff of the Hotel takes care of us and makes us feel at home. Its quality director Emilio Zamoro is charming and always willing to help, and the level staff, including Miguel and Elviro, take care of you down to the last detail. It is a pleasure to stay here.

We stayed 9 nights at the level and all I can say I never wanted to leave. You have tranquility if you want to get out the hustle and just relax. We were taken care of as if we were family. The team work so hard replenishing and making sure you are taken care of. The breakfast, snacks, drinks just what you need. Sometime we would come in the afternoon and just relax, recoup and chat until dinner. If I'm back in madrid this will be where I am staying!!! Thank you for making our stay memorable but wonderful!!!
