An oasis of calm in the heart of activity. The design creates intimate spaces within grand areas, perfect for both socializing and finding quiet moments. The staff operates with remarkable efficiency while maintaining genuine friendliness. Room service is prompt, housekeeping is thorough but unobtrusive, and every interaction feels personalized without being overwhelming

Spa
The spa is definitely the highlight of this hotel. It is the most beautiful indoor pool / spa I have ever seen. There is also a steam room / steam sauna by the pool. During day time it is always empty, which we took the advantage out of to enjoy it alone. The pool water is pleasantly warm and they keep checking the PH and the temperature often. They also wipe out all the splashes to keep the spa extremely clean. The marble floors are extremely slippery, and I suggest to be more careful when walking than you would even expect. There is also a huge hottub.

Room
The room we had was the Palm Court Suite 52 sqm with separate living room, which we were upgraded to from a Mandarin room as we were eligible for an upgrade if available (huge thank you for the staff for this). The view was not brilliant, but never did I actually look out from the window as the room was brilliant in every other way. They had 2 huge TV:s, warmed towel racks, warmed shower floors, and incredible design from floor to ceilings. They also had a pillow menu, which we forgot to take advantage of.

Service
Fantastic. The doormen always greet you by your name as soon as they learn it, ask to carry your shopping bags, ask for the location for your taxi to communicate with the driver. We arrived early in the morning and the room was not ready. However, they invited us for breakfast for free, which truly showed their willingness to provide the best possible customer experience. The housekeepers, even place small linens below all your accessories, cameras, sunglasses, to prevent from scratches. They brought a delicious cake, sparkling wine and balloons to my room for my birthday. There is always security at the lobby. The lobby is extremely intimate and no people who do not belong there can access.

Breakfast
The serving of the breakfast (continental) comes with a piece of art itself. However, for a man, the food offered is not enough and you will need to leave hungry, or order additional food with a cost. This is the only downside of the hotel. To pay for the most expensive breakfast available in town, but to leave hungry is not what I was expecting when I booked the hotel.

Location
Easy access to multiple sights. Not by a busy road, which was nice for the quietness. However, for example, Four Seasons has a bit more central location right by the main shopping avenue, but Ritz is closer to the luxury shopping avenue.

We went to eat at the Palm Court restaurant to celebrate my mother's birthday.

Environment: The area under the dome where the restaurant is located is very beautiful and worth it.

Food: Finally we all ordered the menu. We don't quite understand why they forced us to take all the menus and not be able to take some menus and not others. First they put the soup of the day, which being Friday was tripe. They were just fine, not the best I've ever had. For the main course, some ordered the sirloin with perigord sauce, which was very good. In my case, I ordered the sole a la meunière. The point of the fish was well achieved, although the sauce is not meunière as they say and I didn't love it. For dessert, a representation of grandma's cake that was just fine.
In short, the bill came to €110 euros per person (with appetizers, wine and coffee) and it does not seem like an experience to remember. Although the Palm Court setting is very beautiful, the food disappointed me quite a bit. I expected much more from one of the most luxurious hotels in Madrid, which has some of the most awarded chefs in Spain. Highlight the good service we had at the meal from Mr. Caballero, who was very attentive and very pleasant throughout the meal.

Experience in the living room: after the meal other family members came to have cocktails/drinks. Since there was no room in the dome, we went to the room next to the garden area. The person who attended us at the beginning was very friendly and took good care of us. Now, we ended up leaving with a very bad taste in our mouths because of the shameful and regrettable attitude of one of the waiters who started the second shift (a tall man with a beard and glasses, who we should have asked for his name to indicate it and we did not do so). He came repeatedly to ask us if we wanted to consume something else (we had eaten and had had two rounds of drinks) being quite uncomfortable, as if indirectly inviting us to consume more or leave. So much so that the last time he came, he told us in a cocky and impertinent tone that since we don't consume more he is going to bring us the bill and we have to leave to make room for people who were waiting. We were having a nice time with the family and two people were still finishing their drinks.
After having consumed c.1000€ that day, it seems regrettable and inappropriate for a five-star hotel to throw out in this way some clients who had gone to celebrate a special day that day and who had consumed a more than reasonable amount to finish quietly enjoying the day in the living room. I hope they let this person know that these are not ways to treat customers in a luxury hotel like this.

In short, we did not find the quality/price adequate, we expected much more from this hotel and we were quite disappointed.

Just arriving we found a technician inside the room by surprise, which delayed entry for 1 hour. Meanwhile, we had some patatas bravas that took 20” to arrive and the previous tapa was some fries, a mistake that cannot be made at these levels. The room on the first floor was very noisy and on top of that we found ants in the room. They changed our room after we arrived from dinner, and the toilet in the new room was dirty, but we couldn't stand it anymore. A real disappointment.

MO Madrid is one of the most elegant hotels in Europe. The white/cream/gold color tone is beautiful, and all details are simply perfect.
Gourmet restaurant Deessa is such a gem: it received its first Michelin star shortly after opening, and honestly it deserves a solid 3-Michelin-star for both food (innovative and super delicious) and service (impeccable!).
The garden restaurant is beautifully decorated. I love the seafood paella. Service is excellent.
Gym is spacious and with top equipments. Pool is not big but very nice for a quick dip and rest. Trainers and staff are all very friendly.
Highly recommend!

I've experienced luxury before, but this place redefined the term for me. It wasn't just about high-end amenities or exclusive offerings; it was the genuine warmth and sincerity that permeated every interaction. The attention to detail was astounding, with every element thoughtfully designed to enhance the overall experience. I felt not just satiIf I could give this hotel six stars, I would! The attention to detail was mind-blowing - from the perfectly pressed linens toOFFICIALOFFICIA the meticulously curated local art adorning the walls. The concierge was a fountain of knowledge, guiding us to hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own. The rooftop bar offered craft cocktails that were works of art in themselves, complementesfied, but truly cared for.

We went to brunch, which we were totally disappointed, the food pretty vulgar for the (150€) for pax, soft prawns, second courses there was a wait of 20 minutes (same fish as meat) queuing people (we didn't expect that)
Very regrettable, we will not return or recommend it
They have to improve it a lot and adapt it for the category of the Hotel Ritz
