Hotel has great decor, large and comfortable rooms. They serve a buffet breakfast, very plain but sufficient. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Main shopping mall is a bus ride and short walk away from hotel. Will take you 20mins to get there. Make sure you have change for the bus, 4euros return.

Very nice hotel, nice rooms, great buffet breakfast. We were in 602 so we had the luxury of the roof terrace. Just one thing that was a problem - unfortunately a big problem. There is some of motor or fan just above the room, probably a ventilator. This made a very loud noise when we were going to sleep. It... More

Fine location, not far from city transport (bus, metro), quite close location to the center, nice and friendly staff, nice room. Can't say any thing about parking (I was without car). So overall - quite good for it price.

Stayed for one week. Internet is horrible, hard to work with, even the paid (10 EUR) boost has total traffic limit. Breakfast is expensive (14EUR), does not worth the price. The place is however nice an quiet. Location is not great, but not far from the subway. Rooms are perfectly clean, single rooms are a bit small.

Stayed here for two nights because I had an NH 2-for-1 offer. About 5-10 minutes from Canal metro station; maybe 15 minutes from Quevedo metro. Check-in was fine. I had a single room that was tiny; barely large enough for the single bed, small desk. Halls could be noisy and sound insulation between rooms was not good either. Hotel is... More

A nice location near metro station Canal (7 minute walk) from where 10 minutes to the centre - Opera and Palace Real, and less than 50 minutes to the airport (two easy changes to line 6 one stop and to line 8, from where 5 stops to Terminal 4). It wasn’t a good sign when we arrived and the automatic door didn’t work. The receptionist was friendly but when I got to my room it was a twin room not the Queen sized bed requested (and clearly stated on the reservation), I went down and was told that in their system I had requested a twin. Staying in Chamberi

Neighbourhood Profile
Chamberi
Multi-story residential buildings decorated with ornate balconies line the traditional, quiet, and pretty streets of Chamberí. Humble storefronts and neighbourhood taverns are scattered across the lower levels down every block, and here and there, there's a cluster of tables on the sidewalk. It isn't ever crowded, but people are always out, poking into the tiny bakeries, hardware stores, and tobacco shops, or ducking into a bright, unadorned cerveceria to have a coffee or beer by the bar, flip through the paper, and check the sports score. The round Plaza Olavide, where the fairly regular network of streets breaks form, is among the most green and lively spots. Restaurants line its circumference and sought-after outdoor tables fill the center of the plaza, where people relax to the sounds of kids playing and street musicians' tunes.
