Our party of 5 stayed 4 nights at Madrid Central suites in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment had all the essential appliances, etc to make for a comfortable stay. The apartment was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The building is located very...More
This is a great suite hotel in a great location. We have very few complaints and suggestions. The location is wonderful for walking, shopping, dining, and only 2 short blocks to metro station to take you straight to the scenic areas like the Prado. The...More
We highly recommend these apartments—you get so much more space for the same price as a regular hotel room with no need to worry about going out to find breakfast (you get a spacious kitchen with a full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher and washing machine), vacating...More
Compaired with other accommodation available we thought this excellent value. The rooms were well equipped, clean and comfortable. We visited on the weekend of the Gay pride perade and the final of the European football cup final that Spain won; we thought there would be...More
All in all very good, the position of the apartments is very good, off a main road so quieter but not out of the way. The staff that manage them all in all are very good, and give you a good tour of the apartments...More
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
