Came to Madrid on business and was booked into the Castellana, well situated right by a bus station, and a half hour metro ride from the airport, cost 5 euros, or a 20 minute taxi ride. Neat and tidy reception area with a bar off of the reception area and a restaurant although I have not eaten in it as...

We stayed for 4 nights & extended to 5 as a long stopover in Madrid. Our room was very spacious which is great when travelling with 2 suitcases and hand luggage. There was ample space for both our bags in the entry to our room (I did put mine on the floor of the wardrobe) and there was an internal...

We visited this hotel as part of a mini roadtrip of Spain. We booked without checking how the car park was situated and was met with an underground carpark with a 1.8m height limit. Unfortunately we had a topbox on our car, so we exceeded this. Thankfully Irene on reception (who speaks excellent English) was able to tell us that,...

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights in this hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Hotel was very clean with good air conditioning. Breakfast was adequate for us but menu was not extensive. It was a buffet breakfast with friendly staff. Menu could be extended. There was freshly squeezed orange juice which was excellent. We had a meal...

We booked this hotel via Booking.com and wasn't really sure what to expect as reviews on all sites were a bit hit and miss - some good, some not so good. We decided to give it a try as the ratings were good in comparison to others available at the time of booking. Car parking is available at the hotel...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Although we requested a large room, we received a small one, at the 3rd floor. The room was so small that you could barely move in it. The staff was friendly, helping us for receiving another room, with a better view. Although, the new room was bigger, the cleanliness left to be...

A warm welcome from a helpful receptionist. The hotel is modern and clean with everything you need. Great location close to a public transport hub and a good choice of restaurants. Let down badly by a woefully poor attempt at air conditioning. Despite leaving the system on full blast whilst out for dinner I came back to an uncomfortably warm...

Great Hotel for the price. The only inconvenience is that there is no Air Condioning in December, it sounds stupid but this last December is was hot in Madrid, and they din't have air in the rooms. I tried to open the windows, but it was too much noise with the traffic outside. Again the hotel is great. They have...

Stayed there for 5nights PROS: Booked via website, just the room. Accessible to everything: train, metro train, buses & food! free high speed Wi-Fi; clean room; near Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Arrived early for check in so I dropped my baggage & went to Sol. It was quiet almost all nights except when they celebrated Real Madrid win. I was at...
