I generally don't like leaving poor reviews because it can impact the business of a hotel. In this case I must though. The hotel says it is a 4 stars but if feels more like a 3 star.

Good location in Barrio de Salamanca and nice service. Rooms are cheap but way too small and tired for a 4 stars hotel. I got an interior room that made the experience even more depressing.

Comfortable room- and the hotel is located in a very good / fashionable neighborhood. The desk agents were all very helpful but one agent during the day shift, A'LVARO really went the extra mile helping my nephew and I in English at every turn as...More
- This was my first trip to Madrid. The concierge were friendly and were accommodating. The room was by far the biggest we had during our trip to Europe. The room was very clean. It was close to bus stops, metro and shopping. Limited BF.

Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of
opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
