We tried ARTIEM Madrid based on the reviews and, oh boy, they are 100% correct. Yes, it is definitely out of Madrid central - yet, we arrived by bus with no problem - but the services made it the best of the 4 hotels we tried in Madrid. The staff attention and helpfulness, coupled with care of all the imaginable details, from the recycling bin in the room, the kind hint not to waste water and energy, the bathroom robe, the excellent quality of bathroom conditioner and body cream, the fridge in the room that you can fill up with drinks and food from the ground floor ( the "green space"), the silence and peace all over, the soothing lounge music, the big spread of breakfast food with some local produce from the Baleares islands (origin of the owners) and the corner where they cook your eggs or pancakes as you like, the very well furnished gym, the WhatsApp msg you get when you check in, etc. My most honest comment is that I felt like visiting my grandma : pampered and cherished in every moment, taken care of needs I did not know I had. Go for the "habitación solidaria" (solidarity room) : 100% of what you pay will be given to Caritas to help a family in distress. You can buy it directly from the website of the hotel and it costs exactly the same like the other rooms. In all ARTIEM Hotels they dedicated one room to donate all profits to Caritas assistance activities. BTW, the Solidarity room is huge and has all the best amenities.
If you have any neck or back problem, you can ask them to change your pillow and chose out of 5 different types. I had a terrible neck pain and asked for a memory foam pillow: I woke up refreshed and healthy like a flower in the morning. A most sincere thanks to all ARTIEM staff, for their dedication, care and kindness: you are amazing.

My wife and I had a great stay. It was nice that the staff did not bother us when the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. The hotel is in an area that's changing, Some businesses are closed in the area that are shown as open in Google so check the reviews and the recent reviews normally indicate a closed business. The bus line, #21, outside goes towards central Madrid with stops near the Metro. Taxi to stores on the Grand Via or the airport is around 20e depending on traffic. A very good breakfast with a Show stove for eggs and pancakes. Excellent selection of meats and cheeses. The Grab and Go in the afternoon has a fair selection of snacks and drinks. If you're like me and walk the streets be watchful for dog poop. The Metro stop is about 1/4 mile and a laundromat is about a long 3/4 mile with a down slope and then up hill.

I've had a great stay at your hotel. My girlfriend and I travel a lot together. For me personally it is very difficult to eat different things outside my own (comfort and safe) zone because of my deadly peanut allergy. I could die within 15 minutes after eating something which contains (traces of) peanuts. You probably now know who I am. You are the first hotel I've encountered which cares about this and literally checked everything, from the salads and breads to the live cooking place and prepared my meals (breakfast) separately to be sure that it is safe for me. Excellent hotel, stayed over the May bank holiday weekend for 2 nights. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, the hotel cleanliness and room were also excellent.
The grab and go is an excellent idea that works very well would be nice to see other hotels think of this option.
Prior to booking a few people had mentioned the location, yes it is out of the main city centre however In did not find this a problem. There is a tube station within a 5 minute walk and then the tube journey is only 15-20 mins to get to the centre.
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel and would definitely book again if I go back to Madrid.

I stayed for the weekend at this hotel which I highly recommend. The hotel is sized to make you feel at ease (no clutter or fuss), with rooms of considerable size, king-size bed, and attention from workers to stand out, for their friendliness. A very important extra point and that I have not seen in any other hotel, is the corner that they have next to the dining room so that at any time of the day you can have a snack (a beer, a sandwich, etc.), without additional cost. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Location is very good with a short walk to metro station and a bus stop right in front. Area is very quiet and tranquil. Although some construction is currently happening during the day. Hotel is kept very clean and the room is spotless. On offer are light snacks, coffee, tea and bottled nonalcoholic drinks 24/7 which is very comfortable, alcohol drinks also available at a small fee. Room was a good size and quiet. Underground parking is available, tight but not impossible. Very competitive pricing. Only gripes were that the heat turned off during the night and the Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss at times. Would still gladly return.

There isn’t a self service laundry in the hotel. There may be one in the little town in the area but because I was travelling on to a resort with this facility I wasn’t looking for one in Madrid.
