Stayed three nights in early February. Very helpful staff, great breakfast. Quiet. Fantastic location, can walk to the Prado and other museums. Gran Via subway stop is one block away. Lots of small shops and eating places nearby.

We spent 5 nights at H10 hotel and we very disappointed. The room was very dark and not ventilated, since the window was very small width about 40 cm, facing to an inside dark pier. When we asked to replace the room the manager told us that all rooms are the same. For Normal room with normal window we had...

Thank you for your feedback. The Hotel is an early-20th century building, totally refurbished in 2015. We have different room categories. The category you booked was a standard room, facing to a courtyard. The room has all the standards of a European 4-star boutique Hotel, just is looking to a patio. If you would like to have a room facing...

We stayed here for one quick night on our way between the Canaries and home. We had reserved a superior double room but upon arrival were upgraded to the hotel's only suite. It was lovely! We wish we had stayed longer in order to enjoy it more. The location was perfect, as we could walk to the sights and shops...

Thank you for your feeback. As you mention our location is ideal to visit the city, just in the city centre. The Hotel was built in 1919 as a bank by the Spanish architect Secundino Zuazo and it was renewed in 2001 as a Hotel. In 2015 it has been totally refurbished by the prestigous interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán. We...

Lovely Hotel Boutique bar. We visited the lounge bar on two nights, both occasions we received great service and lovely quality drinks. Seting areas are very fashionable in a traditional boutique style.

Been staying here for the past 4 years and since the first time my only complain is that the rooms are too small for 2 people (who are not a couple, in my case i´ve stayed with my brother). Thats the only thing im able to complain about since everything else is on point; great location, super friendly and outgoing...

Have stayed at this location twice and will return. This hotel's staff have been kind and accommodating, exceeding my service expectations every time. The rooms are very clean. The location is ideal: centrally located within walking distance to many things as well as being just a single block from the train station.

We stayed at the Villa de la Reina for one night only (unfortunately) as part of a longer trip to the North of Spain. The hotel's location is brilliant. Staying in Chueca

Neighbourhood Profile
Chueca
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
