If I could give six stars, I would definitely do it! this hotel is my favorite Hilton so far and I’ve been to quite a few. everything is newly renovated with exquisite taste, rooftop bar and restaurant are unparalleled, and the elegant Madrid style shines throughout . Location also can’t be beat, you are whisked right from the epicenter hustle and bustle onto a quiet hotel rooms . Beds are heavenly. The best part is the outrageously great guest service. The concierge services and iconic sights map rounded up the best of Madrid , everything recommended was absolutely on point and helped us get the best out of our 3 short days . Everyone on the staff is genuinely kind to the point of making you feel right at home! I was also upgraded workout asking! There was not a single slip up in this whole stay, everything from the first contact with the billboard to departure was impeccable!

This has got to be one of the best hotels out there. I arrived to friendly staff waiting to welcome me, helped me with my bags, and called the elevator up for me. Check in was nice and easy, and even got an upgrade and free drink. My room was gorgeous, beautiful view of Gran Via as well as complimentary truffles from a famous chocolateria in Madrid. The staff was so so helpful and accommodating. Out of all the Hiltons I've stayed at, Ive never been treated so kindly from a staff that was truly so selfless.. and never once did they ask for a 5 star review (as other Hilton locations have). Thank you Isaac and Álvaro, and the many many more who made my trip to Madrid so memorable. I'd fly all the way to Madrid again just to stay at this warm, welcoming hotel.

This is an artsy boutique hotel right the corner of Montera and the GRAN VIA. You can walk to everything!
The entrance feels like you have arrived at someone's private townhouse and their concierges/butlers/security team is receiving you. Check in is on un upper floor (7th or 9th) and you are offered a nice glass of Cava to sip while you check in. Check in was individual and relaxing. The staff is lovely!
There is a huge McDonald's on the corner with outdoor tables that is jumping day and night, but in no way detracts from the cozy hotel. The rooms are appointed with everything you could need, even toothbrush/toothpaste kits and wash mitts. There is a drinking water station on each floor to fill your thermos. The breakfast and coffee are good, and you can order your eggs as you like them. The breakfast staff is attentive. Breakfast is free for Hilton Gold and above as long as you have selected breakfast as your Curio benefit.
We loved out stay here and when we left, we were treated to a heat warming gift to commemorate our stay.

Pros: - Friendly staff across the board in all roles - Great location in the center of Madrid - the Metro is so close to the front door. Short walk to the Sol Cercacenias station - Nice bathroom - tub if you wanted and also a nice shower with a rainshower head - nice huge bath towels - Quiet - we didn’t hear any other noise from other rooms and the outside noise was minimal considering the central location - Comfortable bed (not too soft) with wonderful linens - Breakfast was included for us and included both hot made-to-order items as well as a good amount of cold items on a buffet - we really enjoyed it - Beautiful rooftop bar - good selection of cocktails - Nice common area rooms off of the reception area - it rained for a couple of hours one morning so we settled into one of the rooms for a while
Note that the reception is on the 9th floor - so you need to go up to check-in. Also, at first you may think that there is only one elevator but there are two more to the right that require a few steps to access.
The only slight disappointment was that the balcony doors in our room did not open fully - only about 10 to 15 cm/5 or 6 inches. I understand that this is for safety though.

Montera Madrid by Curio exceeded my expectations. The rooms are well designed and beds are comfy and soft like sleeping on clouds (even better than other Hiltons). They used designer toiletries toiletpaper. The location is right smack in the middle of Gran Via but it is the service, that daily greetings and fuss over you that made the stay so enjoyable and pleasant. Even our bartender, Andrei, engaged with us in a friendly conversation about life and history of Madrid.

We definitely recommend the Hotel Montera Madrid. It combines period and contemporary style in a way that would impress anyone. Our room was on the 4th floor above Madrid’s Gran Via which is busy from mid-day until late in the evening and we immediately remarked at the peace and calm inside. (We did, however, enjoy occasionally opening the window and experiencing the hustle and bustle of people down below!). The location, on a pedestrian street, was central to most of the sights you’d want to take in and, if you wanted a show of some kind, the Gran Via is Madrid’s theater center. Everything in the room enhanced our stay, from the amazing mattress (we were walking over 15,000 steps a day & were exhausted!) to the upscale bathroom supplied with many amenities and huge bath sheets. The amount of storage in both the foyer area and the bedroom couldn’t be improved on. A well-stocked food and drink bar was definitely enticing but we mostly enjoyed the plentiful Nespresso coffee pods and water heater for tea. The entire staff from door men, to reception, to restaurant and housekeeping were polite and welcoming and always ready to assist you. We definitely hope to return!

The attention and detail at this hotel was extraordinary. From the moment that you reached the doors of the hotel, you’re greeted with enthusiasm. And then when you check in at the front desk, it’s the same mannerisms and attitude (Paola and David were so friendly, warm, and welcoming!). We were highly welcomed and felt so comfortable, immediately. Esther, the concierge greeted us, inviting us to go over any questions or itinerary we had planned for seeing the city. Her knowledge of the city and recommendations for sites and restaurants were excellent. The beds are so comfortable. My husband and I slept so well, which was such a welcome experience after traveling from the U.S. There were macaroons as welcome gift in the room. There are also stainless steel water bottles that are pre-sanitized, useable, and refillable, with refillable water stations on every floor. Loved the sustainability concept. There’s also a rooftop Bar/restaurant with a beautiful view. The hotel is in the center of Granvia, which is in the middle of many sites that you’d want to see. Upon our departure, the doorman/porter, Angel, helped us with directions to get to our next stop in Sevilla. He personally walked us to the train station and took us down to our train. We’ve never received this kind of treatment at a hotel, ever! Highly recommend! We would definitely stay here again.

Truly a beautiful property in the most perfect location. We were welcomed really quite early for our 4 night stay in Madrod since our flight from the US arrived at 8:30 am and due to my Hilton status, we received a nice upgrade in addition to the early check in. We were offered welcome cocktail coupons (which we actually didn't use but gave to another guest upon leaving our last day while at breakfast). We also received a daily complimentary breakfast from the ala carte menu in addition to a European-ized Hilton style buffet. While abundant, many of until ala carte items had an interesting twist.
The room was truly amazing (albeit a bit odd shaped). The Esperanza Suite when looking at the hotel layout. The bed itself and bedding was pretty exceptional which is one of the main criteria for all of my stays. The appointments were truly over the top for this price point - the toiletrie kits they provide were filled with the perfect amenities. The storage was way more than we needed to live there a month and the intuitive lighting with a master switch at the entry for the entire suite (once we figured it out) was great - especially the auto on for late night trips to the bathroom.
The Daily service was sporadic as far as the time but twice a day which was truly great for coffee and towel restocking and it fit our schedule. The elevator system was fast and efficient (we found the one not used by arriving guests off to the right of the entry and up a few steps was much faster on the delivery) . The staff was the most pleasant of any we encountered during our entire time in Madrid .
I can't say enough about how enjoyable this part of our 28 day journey in Europe was for us this year. The next hotel we stayed at in Barcelona had the very worst bed so we felt truly spoiled having just left Curio Montera .

Lovely new hotel in a great location. All of the employees were very professional and helpful. The hotel features purified water stations on each floor and refillable bottles in every room. The air conditioning in the rooms was not turned on during our stay, so we got really warm at night. Luckily the windows open, so this was a way to cool down. But if you're a light sleeper, this wouldn't be a good option as it's a noisy party of town. We received free drinks for our Hilton Honors status. The rooftop was beautiful and for the cooler evenings we were offered blankets. I definitely recommend this hotel!
