The Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center boasts an inviting atmosphere that guests adore, with lounges that offer comfort and quality. Despite the spacious and comfortable rooms, some visitors have noted poor lighting and less-than-ideal views. The hotel's remote location garners mixed reactions due to the scarcity of nearby attractions.
Service is generally commended for its friendliness and professionalism, although dining areas may see slow service. While opinions on value vary, the amenities, including a praised executive lounge and reliable shuttle service, are widely appreciated. The hotel maintains high standards of cleanliness, a point often emphasized by guests.

The hotel is an imposing property, which stands out not only for its size, but for the variety of services it offers. From a well-equipped gym, summer pool and sauna, to its convenient location near the airport, with direct transportation to both the terminal and a nearby shopping center, everything is designed to maximize guest comfort.
We opted for an executive suite that included access to the exclusive lounge floor, where you can enjoy a wide selection of food and drinks throughout the day, something really good when traveling with children. In addition, the hotel has two restaurants that offer excellent quality cuisine, ideal for those looking to enjoy a memorable culinary experience.
The staff is distinguished by their friendliness, and the option of late check-out for a reasonable fee is perfect for those who wish to make the most of their stay.
In short, an experience that combines comfort, impeccable service and details that make a difference.

The main advantage of this hotel is the proximity to the airport. Getting to the central part of Madrid or the convention center is relatively easy with constant taxis outside, but traffic can make the trip difficult. My group took advantage of the great conference space, multiple rooms with size flexibility. The hotel room was appropriate at this price point. Due to its remote location, we (along with many others) ate the hotel for several days instead of a 30-45 Euro taxi each way. In general, I found the food mediocre at the lobby restaurant, buffet, and at our privately catered function. In addition, the staff was quite slow at taking orders or bringing the check after requests. If the focus of the trip is work, or for a quick layover, this hotel meets the needs.

Without a doubt, I just added this hotel on my "go to/favorites" list. From the time you land in Madrid, a free shuttle is provided [you will have to call first; there is a list of hotels with phone numbers on the wall of the airport's bus/shuttle stop.]
Stayed here 3 wonderful nights. The hotel itself is humongous with a convention center. It is also primarily used by airline personnel. The rooms are comfy, with new modern amenities. Spacious bathroom with nice big shower area. Terry robes and slippers provided. Great wi-fi. Friendly professional front desk staff (shout out to Pablo!) .
Best of all is their amazing & fabulous breakfast! Yes it is 22 euros worth it! Everything you could possibly want including special requests/do it your way from the omelet chef. Open starting from 6am until 11 am - I love these hours (very early and very late). The restaurant employees work very hard constantly replenishing food items.
Far from city center... there is nothing surrounding the hotel (mostly industrial area) but exit at the rear doors of the hotel, and there is a Basque restaurant called Asador 7 de Julio that serves anything cow (steak, ribs, etc.) & tap your own cider from the huge barrels. It'll cost, depending on the time of day, an average 20 euros uber to downtown Madrid; approx 15 minutes.

Nice spacious room, which was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is massive, with plenty of choice for bars/food. The valet was extremely helpful when we arrived with lots of luggage – offered guidance on rental returns at the airport and give a brief guide to the hotel on the way to the room. We would definitely stay here again should we find ourselves flying out of the airport in Madrid.

We spent one night here to rest up before starting a road trip through Spain and only had to wait 10 minutes to catch the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Once we broke through the sea of Mary Kay convention attendees that filled the hotel's entry way and lobby, check in was a breeze, and we were assigned a room at the very back of the hotel (which IS massive). We were concerned at first, but it worked out well as it was very quiet and felt like we were away from the convention. Our room was nice, modern, and clean.
We had drinks and a caesar salad at the bar. All were good, but service was slow, and our main server who disappeared at one point never came back.
When we checked in, we were lead to believe breakfast would be included with our stay, so we were a bit caught off guard at check out when we were told we'd been charged $28. Regardless, for $14 per person, we had a delicious breakfast that offered something for everybody. We weren't allowed to take luggage to breakfast (it had to be locked in a luggage room) which isn't a big deal, but had we known we would have left luggage in our room.
Upon departure, we avoided the shuttle, which had a very long backup already by 7 AM. Taxis were plentiful, so not a big deal, but it further added to the cost of our stay.
We would probably check out other smaller hotels in the area were we to return but still wouldn't hesitate returning for a short stay.

We were looking for a hotel close to Madrid airport for one overnight stay. I was doubting between Marriott and Hilton since I am a member of both hotel brands. In terms of location, both hotels are equal to me, but I have eventually chosen Marriott because I simply sleep better on Marriott hotel's beds. My husband and I are both very satisfied with this choice. To start with, check in went very smoothly and fast. We had a relaxing light dinner by the Atrium Bar. It was very welcoming after a long day flight. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a very good sleep as we have hoped. The breakfast buffet was excellent. There were a lot of guests, but the restaurant has more than adequate capacity to accommodate the amount of guests. There were plenty of food choices with excellent quality. Hotel also offers free shuttle bus from and to the airport every half hour but we did not use it. Taxi ride from airport to hotel is about 25 euro and from hotel to airport is around 20 euro. Official taxi drivers are friendly and professional . There are plenty taxis at the airport and in front of the Hotel. So if you don't want to wait for the shuttle bus, the official taxis are the best option.

The Madrid Marriott Auditorium far exceeded my expectations. Located close to Barajas international airport in Madrid, close to metro stations, with easy access to the city center. The hotel is extremely clean, very well maintained, and you can see that the management is to be congratulated. The social facilities are excellent, a great fitness gym, very well equipped, a swimming pool covered in winter and open in summer and a solarium open all year round. The breakfast is wonderfully tasty, it is definitely among the best in the Marriott hotel chain and one of the best I've ever been to, the buffet is super rich in options, with excellent quality of food and drinks, there are options for all tastes. This hotel has the best Lounge in the entire Marriott hotel network, a super pleasant, very comfortable environment with a buffet and drinks all day long, starting with breakfast, continuing the day with a buffet of salads, breads, cheeses, cold cuts , sweets, juices, water, red and white wine, the quality of the wine served is excellent, congratulations to the Lounge management, I can't mention a name, because everyone was spectacular, attentive, helpful and affectionate. The team, the staff at the Hotel Madrid Marriott Auditorium are much more than excellent professionals, they are wonderful human beings. It is worth it. Excellent value for money. I recommend.

This hotel is located close enough to the airport and has a shuttle service that makes it convenient to guests. It is a big hotel with plenty of underground parking. The hotel installations are nice and the staff is very friendly and make you feel welcomed. I always stay at this hotel, but this time numerous issues at Champions Bar with my order, service and the way I was treated is not acceptable. I ordered Cajun wings with fries. Before ordering it took a long time for someone to come to my table and ask if I wanted to order. I asked for a menu because there were no QR stickers on my table. The waitress brings me a printed menu, walks away and while I am reading it, without asking for it snags the menu away from my hands and walks to the bar with it. Minutes later she returns it and tells me that she had to check something, she could have simply asked for it instead of pulling it away from my hands. I ordered my wings and specified Cajun style. Minutes later she comes back and asked me again if I wanted BBQ or Cajun and I specified again. When she brings me my order I begin eating and they were not Cajun, I called her, she acknowledged me, but didn't come to the table. I called her a second time, because the fries were not fully cooked and needed salt, same issue, never showed up. I ate my wings, not the fries and then some other lady with an Ipad came to my table and I asked for my check. Later that night I returned to Champions again and there was a sign at the entrance "Please wait here to be seated" so I stood there with my grandson for over 5 minutes and nobody showed up. A man wearing a suit who was behind the bar, who had seen me when I walked in, just waves his hand and tell me to just sit down, these manners are just not what Marriott stands for, if you are not going to greet a customer, remove the sign and problem solved. We ordered our food, they brought the food, but never saw my waiter again, so I had to ask another one for additional drinks. In the room, I wanted to have a coffee, and when I picked up the coffee cup, it was dirty, I picked up the second one and that one was also dirty. I took pictures of them, they were never replaced by room service.

I booked two different rooms I the hotel, arriving first in a suite with lounge benefits and pursuing the stay with a family member in a premium room.
If I compare to the last airport hotel visited, which was the méridien conference hotel in Dubai, there’s less of a luxury for sure, but staff is more polite (servants are always stressed about money in Dubai, specifically in restaurants and breakfast rooms, whenever they fear to miss the check). So this was finally as good as the other stay, and we really appreciated the location. The premium room was large and comfortable, the room service was excellent and fairly priced, and the breakfast overwhelming.
I took taxi cabs to the near outlet of las rozas (50 euro the one way trip) and used the shuttle to connect with the metro at the airport when willing to go to town ( maybe one more shuttle per day would have been great).
It’s a huge hotel ( a family friend visiting told us he prepared cinema shootings there due to the size of the location) but with good insonorisation and lay out, so we were never annoyed, even at breakfast, the size of the restaurant and display making of it an event each morning.
I will definitely return, even if I did was not upgraded or rewarded by a welcome gift ( we were two gold members sharing the same room).
I feel these benefits should never be claimed as a due ( this seems to be ruining the purpose of policy, specifically if you know that many Amex card users quickly reach the gold or platine level and thus, everybody claims! ). I understand the logic of the franchise and believe these benefits (aside of the little welcome gift maybe) should simply welcomed when hotel management has the opportunity to do so.
As I had another one month vacation planned, I used points (from Marriott loyalty membership), and find it was an excellent opportunity to be able to book a room this way. I will also definitely return if I have the opportunity of another break in Madrid. The hotel was really worth the stay.
Note for customers : the lounge is good and open all day.
