I spent 4 nights at the hotel with 3 of our children. The room was well equipped with all necessities for a family stay. The hotel staff were very helpful with anything we needed, tickets to attractions, recommendations and doing all they could to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. I would especially like to point out Rodrigo &...

We stayed 2 nights and had a very good time. The location of the hotel and the staff that manage the front desk and those in the breakfast area are great. Really liked the breakfast variety. There was enough variety to satisfy our group of 3 families. We stayed in a quad room which seemed dated but was more than...

It is a tall tower, rooms are ok, well kept, with modern furniture, staff is very nice, wifi works very well, breakfast is very good for Spanish standards. Recomend!

The location of the hotel is great, and the staff were responsive and very kind. My main criticism is this is an economy hotel for the price of a hotel that is of much higher quality than what the hotel in all reality is. The walls were thin, and I was constantly afraid housekeeping was going to enter my room...

This one ticked all the boxes for us. Good loctation, nice room, helpful staff, good breakfast, very good shower. Can't really complain EXCEPT our room had a persistent, unpleasant odour which seemed to be plumbing related. Wasn't present in the rest of the hotel and I don't expect it to be the norm for every room.

The location of the hotel was ideal, you were within walking distance of so many lovely restaurants/bars and squares for enjoying the sun, the food market was really close also as was the huge park. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel room was quite small but was fine for what we needed. I would go back!

I had the most fantastic views from my room. The skyline of Madrid. Beautiful sunset that evening. The breakfast range was impressive, with food for people with special requirements. Very friendly reception staff.

We stayed 2 nights at a 2nd floor room facing a noisy street at the hotel as part of a Fleetway tour package that included breakfast to Madrid. Staying in Centro

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
