There are so many great things to say about our 4 days at this wonderful hotel. Conveniently located across the road from Atocha train station it is on the edge of beautiful Retiro Park and a short walk to Museo del Prado. Prior to arrival we received a warm email from the Front Desk Agent Esther Gómez welcoming us to the hotel and to Madrid. Upon arrival the check-in staff and Esther were very kind and helpful. Drinks and dinner on the rooftop terrace were a perfect ending to our day of travel. The wait staff were friendly and efficient and the food was excellent. We had breakfasts in the same place and there was a wide range of healthy options served buffet style plus made to order huevos. The breakfast staff were cheerful and welcoming, particularly Maria who provided us with tips and suggestions for our upcoming travels to Andalusia, her home province. Returning late one evening we stopped in at Trotamundos, the lobby bar, for a nightcap cocktail. Again, the service and quality were excellent. This hotel has a very cool vibe. The tasteful and fun ambience is a blend of modern and classic with lots of human touches. And the music in the hotel venues added a very chill layer. We can’t wait to return. A really great 4 star hotel, beautiful rooms with an interesting design, the lobby is very unusual, super friendly staff in the lobby and in the breakfast room.

The hotel is a charm, beautiful, modern, sleek decor. We had an upgrade in the room, we stayed very well accommodated, overlooking the train station, squeezed, despite the movement of the avenue, very well sealed, no noise. We booked this hotel based on the unique design and style and the location in Madrid, I would definitely recommend and would probably stay again.
The hotel is opposite Atocha Train station, if you are flying into Madrid airport take the Renfe train to Atocha which takes about 45 minutes but is only around €2.50 per person. The Atocha metro station was under refurbishment when we visited but the next nearest station - Estaction De Arte is nearly just as close as there is a metro stairs entrance less than 5 minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel is also walking distance to El Retiro Park and the Prado Museum.
The hotel concierge hotel were very helpful in advance of our visit, they arranged to decorate our room as it was my partner’s birthday and gave us a bottle of cava and cake for a small additional charge. They also helped in advising for getting tickets to attractions and getting to the hotel.
We had a balcony room which was nice, but the only criticism I have is that the soundproofing of external noise could have been better, you could feel there was a slight draft coming through the balcony doors, so if the doors were updated that were more sealed I bet this would help, because of the proximity of the hotel with the train station it is a very busy intersection and you could hear cars beeping and construction work going on.

We recently spent a couple of nights at Only You atocha before exploring Andalucia and had a wonderful experience. We are a family of 5 (3 little kids) and got connecting rooms which was perfect . Our son turned 5 during our flight to Madrid so before leaving I emailed the hotel asking if there was a way to have a little cake or sthg for him in the room. They charge sthg around 20 euros to prepare a room for special occasions and it was totally worth it. Esther who is the guest relations coordinated everything and she went above and beyond. They had a hot wheels banner on the wall (he loves hot wheels), had actual hot wheels cars for him , they printed pictures of my son and left on the bed which was also filled with balloons, there was also juice for our kids and cava for the adults as well as a small chocolate cake and some fruit. My son was so happy that he asked if we could travel to Spain for every Bday. The hotel is also conveniently located across the train station and behind the Parque del Retiro where we spent a whole day walking , relaxing and playing with our kids. Overall service was good and their restaurant food was delicious.

Just stayed at Only YOU Hotel Atocha one night before flying out of Madrid. Selected this hotel because I just spent several nights at Only YOU in Valencia and it was incredible! Only YOU Atocha was the perfect location right across the street from the main train station which is also the place we were returning our rental car. The only downside is there is major road construction right in front of the hotel which makes drop off slightly challenging but I will say that the staff was incredibly helpful by bringing out the luggage cart all the way to a side street and so it was no problem. They were fantastic in working around this challenge! The lobby and rooms are decorated in a very fun, cool way, making you feel happy and relaxed! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Wish I could have stayed longer.

We just completed a one week stay at Only You Hotel Atocha. We were greeted with warmth by the staff and, despite it still being the morning, they found us a lovely room and checked us right in. We highly recommend that you add the breakfast to your room reservation. There is a buffet breakfast every morning—a number of breads and pastries, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, juices, coffee and tea, omelets made to order, Mediterranean salads, yogurt, granola…the list goes on! It is well worth the amount added as part of the room reservation. There is a lot of construction all over Madrid, and the area around the hotel is not an exception, however the windows are ‘soundproofed’, so there is minimal disturbance when you are trying to sleep. The Atocha train station is right across the street and there is a place to hail taxis right out in front of the hotel. There is a bus and metro system, but we found that most of the parts of town we wanted to see were within walking distance. This is our first time in Spain, so we took a lot of tours. The concierge, Mercedes, arranged all our tours, answered all of our questions and took all the time necessary to make sure we had everything we needed. When a mishap occurred on one of the tours, as a result of an oversight by the tour company, Mercedes made it her mission to make things right for us, trying to find ways that the hotel could compensate us, even extracting from the tour company a partial refund for a cab ride we shouldn’t have had to take. You can tell she loves what she does and wants her customers to have a top notch experience. She is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel and for the city of Madrid. Without exception everyone on the staff with whom we interacted, treated us like they were happy only if we were happy. This is not something you see very often anywhere, and we value that as highly as experiencing a new country for the first time. We left wishing that the people here could visit us in the US so we could return the hospitality they’ve shown us here.

We stayed here 2 separate times as we used Madrid as our hub, hotel is perfect for Atocha station.Early morning arrival to Madrid airport we caught the train to Atocha and then literally walked outside and hotel was opposite (very convenient). Hotel is modern inside, great lively lobby with bar, coffee shop etc, on first visit we were lucky enough to check in early and go directly to room (very thankful) we could shower and get out into the city.The room was at front of building (very noisy) not a problem, getting a room was more positive. Rooms are typical city center (Cosy) even the premium, everything was fine for a short stay, not too sure for extended time! On our second visit we requested an inner facing room, this one was very quiet and I would recommend you request if you want reduced noise, same size and layout. We also had breakfast and it was very good, many choices, you will not go hungry, you can add it to your room rate for a reduced rate when checking in (worth it) One negative was the corridors are pitch black, until motion detector sees you, we did not like this and highly recommend they change this, not a safe environment. Overall both stays were adequate for our needs of using Atocha station, recommend for short stays.

Dear Ceilings, We are delighted to know that you enjoyed our great location right in front of Atocha station and very close to the main centres of activity in the city, as well as the eclectic decoration of the hotel and its restaurant services, which are definitely not to be missed! We are pleased to know that you also enjoyed the comfort of our mattresses and the room, rest is always the most important thing! The strategic location (just 10 minutes from the centre by metro/taxi) opposite Atocha station, close to the main museums, restaurants and shops, makes it a convenient location for both guests passing through and for enjoying a few days in the capital. In addition, the perfect soundproofing and comfort of the beds mean that our guests' rest is guaranteed. Hi,
This month the Breakfast is from 7:30 to 11:00 and will be the same time for weekends and holidays.
From september it will start at 7:00 until 10.30 from monday to friday and 7:30 to 11:00 for weekends and holidays.
The Breakfast is very good so if you go early you may have the chance to try it before taknig the flight.
