Nelva Hotel presents a dichotomy of experiences, with some guests lauding the spacious rooms and cost-effective stay, while others lament the high prices and dated decor. The service garners applause for its friendliness but is occasionally marred by inconsistency. While the atmosphere is often described as luxurious, certain areas are noted as less inviting. Cleanliness is another aspect that receives mixed feedback, with some visitors enjoying impeccably clean rooms and others encountering maintenance issues. Despite this, the hotel's amenities are generally well-received for their comfort and spaciousness.

Not really 4 star overall. Too many small issues.
Furniture in the room looks tired. Chair in room was broken and a safety hazard as is would simply collapse when used. Informed reception by phone right away which promised to get it fixed. Next day still no new chair, went to reception in person which then intervened and I got a new chair.
Going to breakfast at 7:30, almost impossible to find a place in the restaurant. Not because of the tables being occupied but because the tables weren’t cleaned and still full of the plates and glasses and cups of the people having breakfast before. Not a very welcoming sight to enter a breakfast room. No turning tables seen for over 20 minutes with several people clearing tables to find a place to have this very important meal.
Next day tables were cleaned almost as soon as the user left so better than the day before.
4 star hotel? Not really, some minor but important points to work on. A four star hotel needs to be great every single time, not only when you are lucky or staff feels like it.

I agree with most of the latest opinions, spacious reception where you can rest and read the newspaper, reception staff very friendly and ready for any question. The parking is also quite good although you can park nearby (there is a Carrefour, Mc Donalds...). As for the room, along the same lines, although for three people it was a bit limited (they gave us a double with an extra bed).
The pool is not very big and I agree with some other opinions, although there are few sunbeds available, they may not be enough, as well as the parasols. Outside you can have lunch or dinner and it is sure to be a good experience on moderately hot days due to the atmosphere and tranquility (although it coincided with a heat wave for us). We only had lunch once and I found the menu quite interesting in terms of dishes and prices.
Finally, without being in the city center, you can reach it by walking between 15-20'.

It is possible to dine and enjoy the outdoors and be assured that on days of moderate heat it is a good experience for the environment and tranquility (to the extent that a wave of heat will coincide with us). Només vam dinar once and the letter is going to look quite interesting because it makes all the dishes and preus.
Finally, feel that it is close to the center of the city, you can arrive to all passengers between 15-20'.

In general, the room was very comfortable, the bed was large, the facilities were very decent. The restaurant is of good quality and the pool and gym are very well maintained. The only thing I didn't like was that the floor in my room was very scratched. The check-in and check-out were quick and the room refrigerator had water, juices and beer that I was not charged for. The breakfast was very complete and very good and at a good price. I say that it could be improved in the title, because I had to go to change the key twice and the appearance of the floor I consider does not do justice to the reality of the hotel and devalues it as far as my opinion is concerned. I would return without hesitation

Location not ideal to visit historic centre of Murcia on foot, we were even warned by two separate local residents that walking through the immediate area was risky!
Room 618 OK, comfy bed and quiet, but needs upgrading. Struggled to use shower, tried bath but cannot reach shampoo/bath gel bottles fixed to bottom end of bath, poor accessories supplied (razor blunt & very cheap quality, toothbrushes useless without toothpaste). Disappointed no refreshment tray and kettle supplied for a 4 Star Hotel. Difficult to find the dining room open on a Saturday evening - first told it was Closed, then 5 minutes later Open. Did eventually eat there and food was good. Sorry but would choose a different hotel for a future visit to Murcia.

We stayed at the Hotel Nelva for one night while attending a concert at the Bullring in Murcia. The check-in process was very quick with the staff being very attentive. The room was of a decent size with a fridge and a safe. We appreciate that the hotel was full of people attending the concert, but when we went to the pool it was impossible to find a sun bed. There is a pool bar for drinks, but after waiting in a queue for half an hour we gave this up as a bad job. With nowhere to sit, we decided to return to our room. The next day we wanted a shower only to find that the shower was not very clean, I reported this at checkout and they apologised for the issue and gave us a small discount. When we went for breakfast we found that this was extremely disorganized with food constantly running out, I think this was probably due to the hotel being full. When we returned from the concert we wanted a drink, it was probably the hottest day of the year, however, the bar was packed with not enough people serving and again 30 minutes wait for a drink. On the plus side, the room had very good air conditioning.

I stayed here with a friend for a few days, and we had a lovely stay. Our room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. The pool is rather small, but we didn’t struggle to find two sunbeds together, even over a very busy weekend. The only thing is how close the sunbeds are together. There’s no space to walk round them at all, so very difficult to get on and off! It also means that other people are very close to you; we ended up moving after a family left a used nappy on the sunbed directly next to me. There weren’t many umbrellas up on the first day (and it was about 39 degrees) but seemed to be a few more the next time we visited; I might just be imagining that though! Certainly wasn’t enough shade for everyone. There aren’t really any food options by the pool over lunchtime, so we opted to hire a car for one of our days there and explore the local area. It couldn’t have been easier; we just walked up to the desk in the hotel and had a car within about 10 minutes! We had breakfast at the hotel, which had a good selection including gluten and dairy free options. Was all replenished right up until the end of service, and we enjoyed our meal. My only complaint about this hotel is over the facilities for showering if you stay to use the pool after checking out. There is a shower by the pool, but it’s just a shower with no toiletries, and there is no changing space. It’s like trying to get dressed in a steam room after wrapping a towel that had been heated by a fire around you. I was so uncomfortable and desperate to get out, I left my bikini behind! I’ve always been able to shower comfortably after checking out at every other hotel I’ve ever stayed at, so this came as a bit of a shock. Staff were friendly and it’s easy to walk into town, so I would definitely recommend the hotel. I’d just book an earlier flight or not use the pool after check out!

Whenever I go to Murcia, I stay at your hotel because the service is very good and the price/quality is reasonable. This time I was very surprised and it makes me think that maybe next time I won't come back: constant smell of tobacco in the room's sink, uncleaned room (bread crumbs on the seats), if you order something that is no longer there at breakfast from 09:30 when breakfast ends at 10:00, they no longer serve it to you. There are no hard-boiled eggs every day because they cannot boil eggs every day. What some answers... Parking entry/exit with problems. Everything a little chaos. I hope all this can be resolved soon.

Hotel that is very good, very comfortable despite being on a quiet main road.
It is clean at night and it is very comfortable in the cafeteria.
Very important, there is a bus at the same door that goes to the center in the circular plaza, it is the C2 and to get on, leave the bus in front and it is the C1. There is an incredible bus every 20 meters.
What we didn't like was that they had a large group and they didn't know how to manage breakfast, we had to find another room and set up a table ourselves.
But it was a specific day

OK; There is nothing around the hotel to go to to get a local beer etc. It is very industrial in all directiions. I do know the area. So, we walked up to the local tram. 8 mins to go to Nuevo Codominio shopping mall. OK if you like shopping. €2.80 for both of us but a taxi will charge €15 approx. We were attending the Tom Jones concert at the Murcia bull ring. If you need any assistance to get up and down concrete stairs (good luck). The hotel should put signs up at the sports bar as the late night noise echoes into the rooms facing that way. Check in was OK but check out took 20 mins? so slow; Lifts are slow and need new software to show which way lifts travel? We pressed 1 and ended up on 3 then 8? Breakfast; We have eaten in lots of hotels on a B&B basis but never have had to ask where is the salt and pepper? one salt pot for the whole room? Satchets please, its easy. The room was comfortable and the pool area acommodating with a friendly bar. If you come back to the hotel late and require a drink and cannot climb steps. You need to access the sports bar as it is known via another entrance which is not shown? My wife had great difficulty getting around this and so did I carrying the drinks down stairs. Loads of them....... There is NOTHING around the hotel. You need to walk or, get a taxi to whereever you are going. Would I stay here again? Yes, as a head on a bed. As I could not see if the hotel offered dinner? There was no menu, a bag of almonds in the room €5. I do not mind paying extra but there is a limit. Please. There is NO tea or coffe in the room for when you come home late at night and do not want to visit the hotel bar etc because you want to relax in your own room.

We celebrated the farewell of a colleague in the hotel restaurant. There were 10 of us at my table and in two of the places both the napkins and the tablecloth were full of cat hair. We told it to the waiter who told it to who I think was the head waiter, they changed the napkins, cleaned the tablecloth a little with a cloth and nothing has happened here. How cute to say sorry and change the entire table, because the cat would sleep on one part of the table but I'm sure it took a few walks around the entire table until it found the place it liked.

The hotel provided an airport shuttle at €39. However the taxi was €29, and there was always one parked just outside. Took about 20 mins.
