Upon arrival at the hotel the security guard didn't allow the taxi driver to enter but we instead had to remove our bags and walk in. The front desk personnel greeted us with a friendly smile and we were checked in in a timely manner. There was adequate lighting in the room but there was also low lighting that afforded...

The staff at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. I have been staying at this hotel for over 6 years. The rooms are clean and fresh. The staff from the front desk to the security at the gate I found to be very helpful.

Wow! What an experience! My stay was originally intended to be a mere convenient stopover that would enable a few visits to relatives in Central Jamaica while on the way to the North Coast. I hail from Jamaica and reside in Florida. My family accompanied me on a trip that included business and a semi-vacation primarily in Kingston and the...

Hotel staff attitude was distasteful. Very rude men at the counter minus one. Rooms cold and damp. Everything was damp! Sheets towels curtains everything! The food and the staff at the restaurant was great that's the only reason for the extra star review. Every morning they had my breakfast hot and ready. They really know the meaning of customer service.

We arrived at the hotel with no reservations, and found that they only had the more expensive rooms available. Wisely we took one. We got a large room with a king size bed overlooking the pool. And I hadn't expected a pool, either. The room also had a coffee maker, with very good Jamaican coffee. We also got the room...

An older hotel which kept the vintage decor and in a good location. The sad commentary must be that this hotel was not maintained properly. Linens are torn and well worn, and not replaced. furniture is used and abused and not maintained well. What the owners must do is to hire several more handymen to make the repairs on furniture...

The Mandeville hotel was very centrally located, and truly in the hub on Mandeville. When we arrived, the price I thought I was going to lay was not the price that they gave me at the desk. When I showed them to reservation form I had received via email, the front desk was confused, but said for the price quoted...
