The hotel looked promising online it fell short. After driving through a back alley with half a dozen dumpsters you come into a reasonable looking hotel area. The front desk wouldn't honor the rates available on Trip Advisor (first hotel I have run into that would not). The room was not very clean, but the bathroom tub area was filthy....

after a 6 hour journey we found a mix up with our rooms. receptionist was shouting at us and we were really u tired and hungry, this being 11 pm. . after a lot of arguments some beds were hastily put together to accomodate us. On a positive note the next day all the right rooms were allocated.

Rooms with dirty moquette, really hot, full of mosquitoes and with a terrible view. Breakfast poor and staff not so friendly. Close to the city centre and to the fabulous archeological museum where it is possible to visit the unbelievable Riace Bronzes. The price of a room in this hotel is absolutely not related to the quality of the service.

Pros: great and spacious room with a bath tub, pretty decent wifi connection and breakfast, cable tv with too many channels Cons: the hotel is located next to the continental limits of Italy thus offering great views of the Sicilian island but you will need to walk the not so friendly neighbourhood to get/leave there, so a taxi service (that's...

This hotel seems a little remote when arriving by taxi, but is a relatively short and easy (one flight of stairs) to the ferry terminal. We had a large, well furnished room. The main dining room is gigantic and almost empty, but the service was fine and dinner was excellent. The continental breakfast was adequate.

As we were being driven there by taxi I was a bit worried by the appearance of the other buildings around it but when we got to the hotel it was completely renovated and looked great. It was close to the promenade that runs along the water which is a great place to hang out. The staff were very helpful...

We stayed at the E' Hotel 2 nights while enjoying the visit to the superb Bronzi di Riace at the Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria. The hotel is in a unique location at the very beginning of the sea walk in the city. On top is 10 minutes walk to the port to go to Aeolian Islands. Not easy to...

Look from the start you need to know this hotel is used by locals and Italian business people who come to Reggio Calabria to work, therefore its not set up for tourists so to speak. I really want to give this place the full thumbs up, but there are a few issues which l will discuss. Look it’s quite a...

Place: Near the port and easily reachable from the motorway. Not necessarily easy to find, though as it is a bit tucked away. Our satnav directed us correctly, though. We "saw" the surroundings only at night, so not much light to see anything. But it seemed just as well because the area seemed quite low standard and littered. Room: I...
