I am so sorry I didn't see this question until now. I would recommend a private car hire since you are leaving early. I used amalfi coast destination private tours when I was traveling. But there are many companies.

There's a garage near the hotel - the owner parked the rental for us. I don't remember how much it was... or maybe it was free? It wasn't much, that's for sure. A lot cheaper than staying in Amalfi and parking there.
