We recently stayed here for our honeymoon and are now forever ruined with hotels and B&Bs. This place is pure paradise. We had some bad weather at the start of our trip and the ferries were not running from Capri to Amalfi. Francesca was one who emailed us to give us a heads up and we quickly had to chance our plans. From the minute we arrived Francesca greeted us and made our stay beyond incredible. From breakfast, to lunch, to helping us with dinner recommendations (Al Pesce d'Oro right up the street is the best restaurant ever!), to getting us a car to Ravello, absolutely everything was perfect. We were so sad to leave and are planning our return.

Me and my wife were there for a few days and completely loved it. Location is perfect, the view is phenomenal but the very best is Francesca who made great dinner reservations and was of so much help in making the stay unforgettable, the hotel is very lucky to have her. Hope to come back to this dream villa.

Came here last week of August and was so happy we came here because it’s in a great location and close to everything.

What made it the best was the hospitality provided by Francesca who went above and beyond for us.

Lovely lady and the best holiday!

This is such an incredibly lovely place. The room was clean and spacious with a nice sized bathroom. The breakfast was perfect. I cannot even begin to describe the amazing view. It was absolutely stunning, even on the 1 day of rain. They have wonderful water access. Even with all of these incredible things, the best thing there is Francesca. She is the sweetest person and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel special and as if you are the only one there. She is amazing and such a gem.

Great boutique hotel ideal for resting, a couple of miles up the road from Amalfi and 5 minutes’s walk away from some very good restaurants. Be mindful that is halfway up (or down) the hill. It has its own steps down to the sea, several sunbathing spots (so one can find sunshine at all hours of day) and a jetty for small boats. Overall a restful, peaceful stay - just what we needed for the last leg of our honeymoon across Italy.

I can’t even begin to tell you how wonderful our hotel stay was. I wish I could give it six stars instead of five. The pictures below are from our private area. We had to walk down a lemon grove to get to our completely private bungalow. Every morning they would bring us breakfast fit for a King on our own little terrace. We even joked that if we sold our house, how long could we stay here! Francesca was beyond wonderful and helpful. She gave us great recommendations and booked several trips for us. She did everything she could to make our stay perfect.
My husband and I are in our 60s, and we didn’t have any trouble with all of the stairs. There are 160 steps to get down to the hotel.

This Villa is heaven. We spent two nights here as our base for visiting Amalfi town and Ravello, and we consider it our secret spot that we hope to one day return. We visited in August during high tourist season, and this place was just so private, quiet, and really felt like we had it to ourselves. Francesca, Gerardo, and the chef helped our every need. It was perfect. One of the nights we chose to walk to Amalfi for the evening, 30 min walk with amazing views. The cliff views, the amazing breakfast, the gorgeous room. So romantic!

We have planned to stay a week there but the management was quite friendly to let us go after one night.Although the location is spectacular the villa is rather disappointing. The luxury bedroom was small, so was the bathroom. This is not what we had expected regarding the price. On top of that the house can only be reached by a staircase of 160 steps. To go down to the sea from the house it is even more than 200 steps. For a week too much.Unfortunately I have seen no information on this subject so far.Absolutely not suitable for older people and people with children

I just read all the reviews here after staying at the Villa last week and I have to say they are pretty accurate for the most part so I won't repeat them. I wish I had seen them before we went as I had rented it from a company under the name Villa Simona and didn't know this was it's actual name. Would have helped to know the name when trying to find it initially.

If you are thinking of staying there, I would definitely recommend it. It is a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, it is worth it and actually decent value given how beautiful, private and peaceful it is and the fact that it has the private sea access. And of course how expensive the Amalfi Coast is in general. I had no bad experiences with getting dinged on broken items, and in fact we did break a glass but the owner, Cristina, just shrugged it off, so I'm not sure if there were maybe other factors involved with the other people who had problems with this aspect. In fact, Cristina and all the staff were really great throughout the stay.

If you go, my advice is to spend some time outside at night with all the lights off, listening to the sea below. I didn't discover how peaceful and beautiful it is in the dark until the last night. Oh and they have random fireworks some night coming from different places which was a little extra bonus.

There's valet service but your car will be parked on the main road. You'd walk the narrow main road (after climbing a couple of hundred steps). Best way to get around is by boat!

there is a jacuzzi for everyone at the hotel but it's solar powered so doesn't heat up to a high temp.
Bkappen asked a question Apr 2015
Do you offer parking?
Answer from Francesca R
Amalfi, Italy
Free parking is located along the main road (it is not our property) In peak season is very difficult to park. Private parking cost Euro 25.00 per day and it is located at approx. 600 mt.
