Very friendly hosts, very familiar atmosphere, careful prepared breakfast, comprehensive support with information (to reach locations, where to go, local traffic) during a 5 days stay. If I ever will visit Salerno in future, I will try to find accommodation in B&B Salerno Centro.

Salerno Central is a quiet, cozy B&B in the center of Salerno. Everyday breakfast was waiting when we got up. Kauro was always waiting with any advise that we needed from bus and train schedules to restaurant info. A lot of shopping is close by, and it's only a short walk to the train and bus. We were using Salerno...

Felt like home when we stayed at Salerno Centro - very comfortable & clean room. Excellent location to all the places we wanted to visit. Personal attention given by the hosts Lina & Kaoru. Why stay anywhere else?

We will always remember our stay at Salerno Centro B&B. We drove down from the Rome airport. Francesco had arranged to meet us upon arrival as the B&B is located in a pedestrian only area. We followed Pasquale to a secure parking location where our car stayed during our 2-day visit. Kaoru was very helpful in giving us restaurant and...

Our 7 nights at the B&B were perfect. Francesco, Lina, Pasquale and Kaoru are very accommodating, friendly and efficient. Our room, the Ravello was very comfortable and clean. Our private bathroom was across the hall, which was easier than I thought it would be. Our first night was in the Positano (due to availability), with en suite bathroom. Also very...

The place is clean and comfortable. Right in the heart of Salerno with easy access to everything. Very hospitable and involved team. The breakfast was nice. On a day when we had to leave early, they even packed a nice breakfast for us which was really thoughtful.

Dear Lina, Pasquale and Kaoru, I appreciate Francesco leaving me in your capable hands. I traveled alone, arrived late at night, and I was greeted by all of you who ushered me into my lovely room. The bed was so comfortable and everything I needed was there for me, even a writing desk with free wi-fi! I could not believe...

To Lena, Francesco and Kauro we sincerely enjoyed our short but wonderful visit to Salerno. My wife and I were amazed at the welcome and hospitality offered at Salerno Central B&B The Positano room is a delight which allowed us to sit in our own little courtyard and partake of a recommended Amalfi wine and the locally made mozzarella. Thank...

Francesco, Lina (his mother), Pasquale (his father), and Kaoru made our stay as enjoyable as humanly possible! They all worked very hard, were very hospitable and attended to our every need. We certainly will come back to Salerno Central one day when we return to beautiful Italy!. We actually had difficulty leaving because in eleven (11) short days we felt...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Salerno Centro" Bed and Breakfast is housed in a former convent of 15th century. We are located in the main square of salerno, about 800 meters from Salerno train station: a simple and pleasant 10-minute walk along the pedestrianized Corso vittorio emanuele, the most important shopping area of Salerno. You can choose between three very comfortable rooms with private or en-suite bathroom with free wi-fi connection and air conditioning. The free wi-fi connection is also provided in the wide common spaces. A limited made-to-order breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace which you relax yourself after the trips around Salerno. The intercity buses and the ferries to Amalfi, Positano and Capri are all 10 minutes away. There are many cafes, bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity, and the local bus lines are just a few steps away. Salerno deserves a full day or more just by itself, and can be used as a citybase for daytrips to the Amalfi coast, Cilento coast, Capri, Paestum, the Royal Palace of Caserta, Pompei, Ercolanum and Naples itself."Salerno centro" will be your home away from home. ... more   less
