My boyfriend and I visited La Garconniere during a last minute trip to Amalfi coast in summer 2015. The choice of available hotels was very limited and we booked this one although it is not the type of property that we normally go for. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but my hesitation evaporated upon entering this gorgeous place....

We had a suite, very plush and the people who run the place do not speak good English, but then my Italian is not good. However we communicated. the food is good, very good. The rooms were furnished in a French provincial style which my wife loves. The rooms have Juliette balconies with shutters. Very close to everything and the...

The B&B is very clean, nicely furnished and located centrally. The owners are nice and welcoming and breakfast is pretty rich. Unfortunately our room didn't have any air/con. We couldn't open the window as our room was facing the high street and it was too loud. A powerful fan was provided but again we had to switch it off as...

The decor if this accommodation was lovely but that was it. We had an awful relationship with Christina from the very beginning and from then on things just didnt improve. I had previously emailed regarding checking in times ect as we were catching a late train from Venice. I was made to feel as though we put her out as...

My husband and I stayed at La Garconniere for 3 nights during a trip to Salerno. The B&B was located in a lovely piazza ideal for exploring Salerno. The owner Nelly was very welcoming and accommodating. We stayed in the suite on the third floor of the building, which was spacious and light. The suite consisted of a bedroom, separate...

We had the pleasure of staying in two rooms at La Garconniere for 1 night in May. We were walking from the ferry ... it's probably a 15 minute walk from there and a little less from the train station down the main shopping boulevard in town. Once you arrive at the building, you'll have to climb a few sets...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this B&B. Even though the building was under construction, Giussepe made our stay really comfortable. The room is big and very comfortable. The style of decor is French, like its name suggest, and very beautiful. It is well located in Salerno and you can walk anywhere and everywhere. Giussepe gave us a...

Absolutely excellent B&B in Salerno. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast and...absolutely beuatifully decorated rooms. At the moment the building it's in is under construction, but that's no problem at all. The only problem is that it's a bit hard to find the B&B! Once inside the building you have to climb pitch dark stairs and at that moment you...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights as an affordable approach to the Amalfi Coast. We saw on a blog that Salerno was convenient, so we gave it a shot. Salerno does not offer much. It took over an hour to Positano, so we cut our stay in Salerno short and headed to a more central location. La...
