Had a great 7 night stay, before we went we were a bit concerned after reading several negative reviews but we had a lovely time. The hotel was clean the staff helpful and friendly the food was not 4 star but quite acceptable and with a large selection of buffet desserts. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious with a balcony...

Hotel Cesare Augusto; Sorrento. Most adequate hotel though a little dated. Looks and feels quite 1970s; needs some bringing up to date. Large clean, spacious rooms, very comfortable. Plumbing 'clangs' in the morning rush! Front of hotel looks over a busy road; without my earplugs I'd never have slept. Food; limited selection and little for the vegetarian. Four starters and...

Very convenient location to squares, restaurants, museums and shopping in the area. 5 to 15 minute walk gets almost everywhere you want to go. Staff is exceptionally helpful and rooms are VERY spacious for Europe. Large bath is excellent with a real shower curtain (hurrah) and a bidet for those who want one. Each room has large balcony with table...

Wow ? What a hotel. From the minute you walk through the door of the hotel . Wow . The staff were FANTASTIC . The food was FANTASTIC. I have a lot of food allergies but nothing was too much trouble for Mario and his team. Every bit of food cooked as you order and perfect . Could not find...

A comfortable, clean hotel in a great location. Hard-working, helpful, friendly staff. We kept our windows closed so weren't bothered by noise from outside. Air-con kept it comfortable. Towels were renewed daily, sheets and pillowcases were changed frequently. The restaurant could improve by serving hotter food at breakfasts, but there is plenty of choice, with fresh oranges, apples and pears available,...

Stayed here for 4 nights in May and received great service from the staff. I previously stayed at the hotel around 9 years ago and chose this hotel again due to the great location. I requested a high room and was given room 501 which also had a lovely sea view. The hotel hasn't changed much and would benefit from...

Have just come back from a Riviera holiday staying at this hotel and we thought it was lovely. A good location, close to the main square and had a handy tabaccheria nearby. The staff were absolutely charming during our stay and tolerated our attempts at Italian very cheerfully and even became mini teachers. The food was obviously produced for large...

Stayed here for seven nights as part of a Riviera Travel tour. Good location for exploring everything the centre of Sorrento has to offer. Good basic hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay but probably more three star than four as it needs an update. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable with adequate storage space. The front of...

Stayed at hotel for 6 days and it was extremely average and long in the tooth. The front desk staff was unfriendly and it was just the start of the tourist season. There is a great bakery when one goes out the back entrance that the locals probably go to as it was fairly full and at least half the...

Stayed here on tour holiday with Riviera Travel, location, reception, rooms all very good but the quality of the meals was not worthy of it's 4 star rating. Most fruit at breakfast was tinned and the cooked food of scrambled or hard-boiled eggs and occasional bacon or frankfurter sausage was not enough to feed so many guests and usually cold....
