Conveniently located from train station, bus stop, ports and even from Napels train station. Cosy and comfortable rooms- decently sized. Their breakfast could’ve been better but it was still something we could forego. A cooperative staff and a good experience.

This was a lovely hotel. We stayed here for 6 days in a double standard room on the top floor which had a patio with a great view of mount Vesuvius in the distance. Nice brekky. The highlight was the lovely pool area- great for relaxing after a day of site seeing.

Nice affordable hotel with a great location to explore Sorrento. Was a little surprised that the front desk didn't speak much English (as most hotels that cater to tourists in the area do) but was enough to get by. Breakfast was included and the wait staff was very attentive.

I have stopped at this hotel 3 times now. The staff are great and friendly, and connot do enough for you. To be totaly honest the owner could look a little happier but i have not had a problem with him. Yes it is on a road, and so are many other hotels in sorrento, its a city.

How far is the hotel from the centre/train/ sea/ valley of the mills? How steep a walk is it? (I know it’s sorrento!) Basically a short flat walk to/from the hotel and the train station and everything Sorrento (shops, restaurants etc. That was what we enjoyed most was walking through Sorrento. A good location. Are there boats to Capri? what is la last boat back? Yes, I think this is where we boarded. I think like 4pm is the last boat. The tour tells you when disembarking in Capri. My wife booked all of our tourist activities from the English or Spanish speaking tourist offices along the street. That's also where we bought our train tickets too. They only charge like $5 American per train ticket and they can book hotels and everything else for that amount. Read my stories of our travels to all of the regions we had traveled on my website. You have to search for me on your browser. I am currently working on my new website but you should be able to find the stories through a search. Is the train easy to use? Somewhat. The ticketing system was cumbersome at first. The train into and out of Sorrento can be either of luxury or the Graffiti train. We used each. When on the latter, keep your jewelry and other valuables close and hidden as expressed by an older local on that train, pointing to my wife's necklace. Boat or train to postino or almalfi? We took a tour van from the tour office. My wife said to use a AAA book from publisher Frommer's, 2018 Italy. She said it was full of our tour information throughout our three weeks in Italy. Any other places a must visit other than the above and Pompeii? That about sums it up. The bar at the pool closes early.

Does the hotel offer an airport shuttle service and if so how much?
Sorry Sharon I don't know. We used a private taxi transfer, even sent a Mercedes for the return journey which was great! Its a small hotel so can't imagine they do but can't help, sorry. Lovely hotel and location, great pool and very clean.x
