We stayed at the Michelangelo in July 2013 to attend a family wedding. The management was superb!!! Assisted us with excursions and many questions we had. We were upgraded to a suite which was magnificent. Would highly recommend this hotel.

A very traditionally designed & furnished italian hotel worthy of its 4 star status. We stayed half board with buffet continental breakfast (cooked breakfast available at supplement) and waiter service choice of evening meal. Staff were courteous & friendly, all areas of hotel spotlessly clean. Free aircon in high season, free safe key, free basic toiletries provided & good size...

Stayed here as part of a Riviera Tours holiday. Arrived 11pm so obviously restaurant closed and we were given cold plate of food on arrival in our room. We were allocated room 114 which is 1st floor on same level as swimming pool and terrace. First impression was room much smaller than we expected and due to the decor a...

We got here for a five day stay and were given two rooms overlooking train tracks. One of the rooms was supposed to have a double bed, but both had twin beds. When we asked to change, we were told we got these rooms because we checked in late (6PM) but that they'd let us know if better rooms opened...

We stayed there for a week in August. On arrival (around 10pm) we were told that the restaurant was closed so we couldn't dine there but that they had left a cold plate in our room. This was a nice gesture and the food was very good. Overall the rooms were nice, extremely clean thanks to a very efficient staff...

We stayed here for a week in July whilst on a Shearings Grand Tourer holiday and found it a very enjoyable experience. Clean, well equipped rooms, good air-conditioning and fresh towels every day. The staff are delightful: efficient, helpful and humorous. A very good choice at both breakfast and dinner with high quality, well presented food. The bar area is...

We stayed at the Michelengelo for 5 nights in July/August. The room we had was on the small side although it had a large and pretty terrace, but it did back onto the railway line. Trains don't run through the night but you can certainly hear them when they pass right behind your room! The room and the rest of...

Convenient location for walking into town and down to the harbour. Very very clean! Rooms were a good size and in good condition. A small swimming pool that looked clean although we didn't use it. Breakfast was simple, no hot food, but enough to set you up for the day. We had a room next to the train tracks but...

Stayed in Michelangelo for a week in July 2013. It is located 5 min from the main square in Sorrento so not far from the bars and restaurants. 10 min away from the beach; however it has own pool and sun terrace which was very good, too. Hotel was very clean and it deserves its 4 star rating. Maid service...

Stayed here for one week in July 2013. Although the room was small and ours overlooked the rail line it was clean and traditionally furnished and we slept well although the beds were twin and not double which we asked for. I would agree that it is more a 3 star plus than a four star hotel overall. The swimming...
