Just spent a couple of nights here and it is ok and I mean ok, it is nothing to write home about. It's saving grace is location, right next to Tasso Square (Piazza Tasso). We arrived to simply find a set of keys on a desk with my name on it, that's it, you make your own way from there...

We stayed here for 3 nights in June 2015, what a fantastic place. Carlo the owner was brilliant, a complete character but with a fantastic 'can do' attitude, we felt whatever we may have wanted/needed he could have arranged. The rooms are large, comfortable and had a quality feel about them. There was also tea making facilities in the rooms,...

Our family stayed here recently on our trip to Sorrento. The staff was so nice and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our breakfast on the patio each morning. As mentioned, it's tucked behind a big gate which makes it feel very private. Just outside the gate is a nice fresh fruit stand and main square in only a few short...

People there are nice and caring, the room for 3 is unexpectedly big with high quality TV and air-conditioning. The breakfast is simple. You can store your luggage here after check-out and go to the town for gelato and souvenirs!

Great small hotel, an oasis of clam, away from the hustle and bustle of the sometimes tourist packed Sorrento. Quiet, clean and spacious well equipped room and bathroom. Carlo the owner is the gracious host, very helpful. Nothing is too much. And the best coffee. Don't miss the cappuccino for breakfast.

We loved staying at La Magnolia. I especially love how it is tucked off the busy street behind a gate-- it makes you feel like you're going home each night, instead of to a hotel. A nice feeling in a relatively touristy destination. Carlo the proprietor is really fantastic, and an entertaining man to boot. Some of us were also...

We had a lovely time during our stay at La Magnolia. Such an ideal location, very close to the main square but set back just enough that it is still quiet. You feel very safe here as they also have a locked main gate before the hotel entrance (you are given another key for this, so even if the staff...
