Fabulous stay! The location in Marina Piccola is very convenient! You have a gorgeous view of the ocean and the marina from your room. The morning breakfast at the terrace was delicious, surrounded by flowers, seagulls and views! Love the decor, the luxury details and most importantly the staff it’s extremely helpful, always ready to help you with reservations to restaurants and outings. I will stay here again, Sorrento is a great vacation spot to take daily trips around the Amalfi coast.

The staff and accommodations at the Marina Piccolo 73 were great. Alice checked us in and was so helpful. She provided many restaurant recommendations that had amazing food. The hotel is located off the beaten path but is quiet and scenic as it is adjacent to the marina. The location was convenient for boat access and just a short walk away from the elevator up to the main areas of Sorrento. The elevator cost 1 euro in each direction and can get crowded when the large ferries come in but it is convenient and easy to use. We would definitely stay here again.

Marina Piccola 73 is a delightful boutique hotel located steps from the main port in Sorrento. Each room at the hotel is spacious, unique and offers different views of the port and sea from each window. The hotel is spotless and the room was made up perfectly each day.
The best part about the hotel are its staff and beautiful rooftop and seaside terrace. Benedetta and Donatella, the two wonderful women who run the bar and breakfast service, respectively, make this hotel worth a visit. Benedetta makes delicious cocktails and offers homemade aperitivo before dinner each night. She is a joy to speak with and could not be friendlier. Having lived in major U.S. cities and traveled extensively in Europe, I can say that Benedetta makes a cocktail that would rival and exceed that of any big city bar. Donatella too makes delicious breakfast cakes and other breakfast items and caters the breakfast she serves to whatever you may desire. Both women made us feel comfortable and at home at the hotel. They are certainly a reason to return!
The front desk and owners of the hotel are extremely friendly and made bookings for us at restaurants and at the beach without hesitation. They made sure we had everything we needed during our stay including doing same-day laundry for us on a Saturday.
In sum, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Do not let its location in Marina Piccolo dissuade you. No other hotel in Sorrento can beat the views, comfort, or staff of Marina Piccola 73.

I am sitting outside this beautiful located hotel in Sorrento not wanting to go home. We where treated like family by all the staff. We stayed in the tower which is beautiful and great access to the massive balcony where you have breakfast, the breakfast is big with fresh pastries and eggs the way you like. I would highly recommend this hotel as the location for the ferry is just a stones throw away and if you want to go the the centre the lift to the top is close by. We would love to thank all the staff for a beautiful stay and especially Alice for the fabulous recommendations of places to eat and they where all beautiful. Plenty of nice touches like robes and slippers chilled water tea and coffee in room etc. all adding to a very comfortable stay. We will be definitely back again .

This place oozes charm and the hosts are incredible! Our room was overlooking the beautiful harbor, had balcony doors and a lovely big window that opened to the sea below. The ancient building had many modern touches with lovely built- in ambiance lighting. Plenty of sriracha space was available for belongings and the large bathroom included a gorgeous shower with rainforest shower head. The common areas were tasteful , clean and comfortable and had tremendous character. We loved the fireworks each night and we really loved the gracious lady, Donatello, who served us a sumptuous repast for breakfast on the terrace which overlooks the sea and provides a stunning view of Mt. Vesuvius. Donatella was not there our last morning and we missed her kindness and warm smile.
We waited a year to come and visit this place. It was everything we had hoped for and more! This is one of those spots I will remember all my life and would come back to again and again!

This boutique hotel is family run and owned which makes it so very special. It’s unlikely you’d stumble across it unless you’re visiting the marina to get a boat somewhere, however we enjoyed the quiet positioning and feeling like one of the locals during our 6 night trip to Sorrento. The breakfast (a choice of sweet or savoury - we chose 1 of each to share) was so beautifully presented and served with such friendly service each morning. The view from the terrace where it’s served really is special. The hotel decor is very unique and authentic but feels clean and homely, a testament to the care gone into it from the owners. Our only drawback was that we reserved a deluxe room due to the big balcony but it didn’t get the sun at any time in the day, the lovely view of the marina and extraordinary bathroom made up for it though! The staff really do make your stay here so special and we couldn’t have asked for more during our stay in Sorrento - thank you!

What a find! The evening we arrived we could hardly believe the view, the ambiance, and the warm welcome. Our room had a little balcony and the sound of the waves would put you to sleep. The bathroom was very beautiful with a large walk-in shower and great smelling amenities. Bed was very comfortable with crisp linens.
Our breakfasts served by Donatella were delightful and included special eggs, fruit and a variety of pastries, breads, cheeses, Italian thinly sliced meats.
They had a wonderful woman, Benidita who is a sommelier, mixologist, chef and more who tends the bar in the evening overlooking the bay. You will fall in love with her. In addition, to drinks she brings out delicious hors d’oeuvres that she has made. Usually, we had the whole lovely balcony to ourselves.
The owner, her daughter and all the staff are wonderful.
If you are looking for noisy, busy, hermetically closed off, big hotel this is not it. If you want charm, comfort and genuine hospitality, steps away from a busy downtown, this is it!!!

We had family stay here before with a wonderful experience. We went online with them to book the room and the room we thought we booked online was different than the room in our confirmation email. Make sure you check the confirmation to ensure the room you are getting!!! The room we were given was NOT in the main part of the hotel. This room was in a separate building down the street which was not the best experience. The door to get in the building was behind a Vespa parking area and boat rental place so it was busy with people. You walk into the building and it’s very industrial with wires sticking out of the walls. The building had a bad smell to it throughout. The entry to the “room” was very narrow and if you tripped you could easily fall over the railing to the next floor. In these rooms you do not get the “hotel” experience. No service or cleaning to the room the whole trip, have to bring the trash to check out, and no breakfast included. The hot water only lasted enough for 1 shower- more outdated bathroom/room. Was next to the pier so was very loud very early- hard to sleep in. The room was spacious and clean. The main hotel area and terrace is very nice and I think if we got the room we had intended it would be a different experience. Make sure you DO NOT book in the apartments. I think these need to be on a totally different website so future customers are not confused and book this for an unpleasant stay.

The hotel is located in the harbour, overlooking the sea with Mount Vesuvius ever present across the Bay of Naples. It is an oasis of calm just around the corner from the bustling activity of the harbour with its daily boat excursions and the ferries to Capri and Ischia. In the evening the harbour falls quiet and it becomes very peaceful. Our room had beautiful sea views to the front and side and was stylishly appointed with great air conditioning. Breakfast and evening drinks/cocktails are taken on the terrace, where you can enjoy the stunning views over the Bay of Naples at the beginning and end of the day. We spent an idyllic week here. The hotel can organise different trips - we took shared boat tours (1) around Capri and (2) along the Amalfi coast, stopping at Amalfi and Positano. We took ourselves to Pompeii and Herculaneum (there is an excellent train service from Sorrento to Naples which stops at both sites) but would recommend a guide around Pompeii as it is such a large site. An afternoon or two lazing in the sun at Bagni Salvatore is also recommended. We made a point of walking up the hill to Sorrento, but there is a lift operating until midnight if you prefer. In summary, the perfect hotel to spend a week in a wonderful place with plenty to do. Congratulations to Roberta and Alice, with special mentions to Donatella and Benedetta for their charm and wonderful homemade cooking.

My friend and I planned a 3 night trip to Sorrento at the beginning of October. The hotel is right on the marina and our balcony had the most incredible views!! The room was spotless and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Our waitress for breakfast was always so chatty and happy to see us, giving us recommendations for the day and serving us the biggest, varied and most delicious food! We were full for the rest of the day!
The staff at reception were always incredibly helpful, printing out maps for us, timetables and giving us fantastic recommendations.
Can’t fault this place at all and would highly recommend!!

It starts @ 7am I think during the week and 8am on the weekends.. but they are very accommodating. Usually open for a couple of hours and a great bar and snacks in the evenings.
There are more places to choose from in the Sorrento area.
