Terrific hotel! The hotel itself is lovely. What makes this hotel so special is the attention to details and the very accommodating staff. They go out of their way to make sure everyone receives wonderful service. Would highly recommend.
My wife and I wanted a special hotel on our first trip to Capri and we found it in the Hotel Minerva, a small hotel, lovingly managed by the Esposito family. We were early so Antonino treated us to an elegant brunch in the rooftop...More
By far THE BEST hotel we stayed in during a month in Italy.

I agree with Brian M. that day trips are a hassle. Best to spend 4 nights in one spot, as each town offers lovely hikes and views. I have been to Capri 10+ times, most recently for a full week. There is plenty to do there, if you like to walk. Positano is fun for no more than 2 days. I love Calabria: Monopoli, Lecce, Alberobello. Unlike the Amalfi Coast, Calabria is a region in which you can stay at one place and make day trips as long as you have a car. The drive from Naples is about 2 hours and easy, and the Bari airport is a good hub.
