For a deluxe room it was disappointing, fitting old and not a brilliant bathroom, no stand alone shower. It was more what I would expect in a standard room. The sea view was good and a large balcony to sit out on with a reasonable degree of privacy. Staff not that friendly and breakfast choice limited. Service poor, same in the evening. We ate in the hotel as all restaurants booked up, food was ok but very expensive for what it was but that appears to the same for most of Capri town. €3 cover charge is high. At breakfast the water for our tea was cold so decided to have coffee and that came out only luke warm. Location was good but there must be better value hotels

All in all decent. Maybe a little dated but comfortable, clean, in a great location and helpful and friendly staff. Ate in the restaurant one evening and food was excellent. Only negative is the room was very very short of working sockets - only had one and needed to unplug the TV to use that!!

We had a really lovely two day stay here in this hotel. The room was large and spacious and we had a lovely balcony with a partial sea view. The aircon was great, room spotlessly clean. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful.

We had a pizza on the first day which was the best I’ve ever had in Italy, made by Antonia.

Breakfast was ok, not the best we’ve had on our Amalfi / Sorrento holiday. Overall though this was our favourite hotel and destination. Hotel is in a great location for the centre of Capri.

Four of us had lunch there yesterday. Waiter brought wrong order to two of us and, by the time the correct order (two rocket and tomato salads) arrived, our other family members had finished their lunch. No apology was offered by the staff for either the wrong order, or the delays. The restaurant was not overly-busy at the time and it didn’t appear short-staffed. For all four of us, it was an unpleasant and expensive experience!

Baking hot day, so decided to stop here for lunch. Wasn’t sure what to expect but sat outside with a fan blowing to cool us all down.

Pizza was really good, probably one of the best I have had in Italy. The caprese pizza and diavola were really very good. We also ordered a separate caprese with buffalo mozzarella. Went over to thank the chef afterwards.

Very good service, and a very welcome break during our walk around the streets of Capri

Charming hotel with an outstanding team, very comfortable rooms, heavenly beds, manicured garden, warm pool, delicious buffet breakfast, sea view. and very convenient complimentary shuttle from the Harbour, to the Hotel, to the center of Capri. The receptionist said: « sadly, you have to leave » he was right. Enchanting !

When checking in we received an upgrade to an amazing room with a massive terrace! The hotel is located right in the centre of Capri next to the famous Quisisana hotel. All famous shops are a minute or less away. Great breakfast and nice restaurant for lunch!

My dinner was served by Shane who was absolutely outstanding. The food was magnificent and the service made it even better. Shane made the spaghetti in a wheel of parmesan which was incredible. I will include a picture below but this was the most amazing meal me and my girlfriend had while we were in capri. Thank you Regina Cristina and Shane for your amazing service

August '03 My husband and I stayed at Regina Christina which has a good location near the center of all the action on Capri. Our first room had broken AC and when we informed the front desk we were told that someone would be up to check. Upon checking the AC (approx. 1/2 hr - 45 min later) it was determined that we would need to be moved and we were offered a room of much lesser quality than we had paid for. We refused the room and demanded a room of equal or greater quality than what we had originally booked. We were told that there were no others....after rethinking the problem the gentleman at the front desk found a room of better quality to house us in which was acceptable. FYI, No porters to move the luggage. Our stay did get better and we enjoyed the charms of the hotel which was clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The front desk staff was very helpful moving forward and the owner of the hotel present at most daytime hours...a charming woman. Rooms very clean with beautiful tile floors and large baths. Don't count on the hairdryers in rooms as they are wall mounted dryers and don't work very well. Breakfast (included) was plentiful and typical of Italian cold breakfast. We would return to stay at the Cristina in the future.

The Regina Cristina hotel is a nice three stars hotel in Capri, but nothing but a three stars.
There were things of this hotel I didn't like at all. First of all, I had
to pay 12 euro extra for a deckchair on the pool. I have travelled all over the world but I've never been charged for lying down, especially after having stumped up 300 euro (450 $) for a 3 stars room with 2 stars furniture. Prices in Europe are getting absurd!!
You'd much better go to the Quisisana hotel. It is a true 5 stars hotel right in the centre of Capri and, believe me, the prices are not so different from the Regina Cristina, but the service is quite a different matter!! The cleaning-service is impeccable, breakfast buffet is very rich.
Forget about the Regina Cristina hotel if you don't want to feel stress in controlling your bill all the time!

Buongiorno, tutto il centro di Capri è zona pedonale, ma può lasciare lo scooter presso uno dei parcheggi a pagamento poco lontani dalla Piazzetta, e raggiungerci in pochi minuti.
