My husband and I are visiting Italy and we went to Capri for 1 night! We picked Hotel Canasta based on the TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disapointed! We reserved a room with a balcony (#24) and a gorgeous view of the ocean and the Faraglioni rocks. The room was large, clean and the patio furniture is modern and...

This was my fifth visit to Capri. I stayed at Hotel Canasta for one week with my wife, daughter and mom. The owner, Mr. Pietro, is a nice gentleman with great knowledge about the island and history. He was very hospitable with a good sense of humor. The positives: Location. It is close to the main square and shopping as...

Thoroughly enjoyed our restful and pleasant stay at Hotel Canasta in Capri, Italy. Under the excellent supervision of owner and manager, Senior Pietro D'Emilio - a charming and entertaining host. The accommodations were comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious especially their Caprese chocolate torte cake. Attractively decorated rooms, comfortable and pretty as well as beautiful, relaxing swimming pool w./great setting....

We stayed at the Hotel Canasta for five days in June. Traveling with three kids, having just finished a very busy week in Rome we were ready for some quiet, leisurely time. This hotel was the perfect solution. Although just a short walk from the main square, it was blissfully quiet, especially at night. Air conditioned, spacious, spotlessly clean rooms...

The Canasta was actually our second choice as the first one was completely booked (we got the last room at the Canasta as it happened). How happy we were that the other pace was full! The room wascharming with la large terrace with an orange tree growing on it (I hope they didn't mind that we picked a couple of...

We booked this hotel at the last minute based on TripAdvisor reviews. The trip itself was last minute, and I had some trouble determining if Capri or Anacapri would be best for us, but we're glad we chose Capri. This hotel is the nicest "three star" I've ever visited. It's set a very brief walk past the loud crowds of...

My husband and I spent 3 nights in Capri as part of our honeymoon in early November. We stayed in one of the rooms on the upper level with the sea-view and the view did not disappoint. It's hard to find fault with this aspect of the hotel when you can look in any direction and see the most breath-taking...

This review is long overdue but I relied very heavily on Trip Advisor for booking our Amalfi Coast Honeymoon so it's my turn to pay it forward. Hotel Canasta is the perfect spot for budget-conscience travelers that do not want to sacrfice quality or location. The rooms are spacious and the balconies are even larger. The shower window overlooking the...

This place was PERFECT! We stayed for only one night in Capri (which is more than enough to go broke) and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The room was huge and oh so very clean. We had a beautiful little balcony with our private lemon tree. Mind you, we did book a room that was a bit more...

Canasta hotel is not cheap but it's a good value for money. And it feels more like 4 rather than its 3 stars. The staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent with a variety of fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices, cereals, etc and is served until 1 pm (!!). The room was pretty and comfortable and regularly cleaned . Our...
