What makes Dolcevita stand out is the kindness and warmth of the couple who run it. They perfectly combined care with 'laissez faire', letting us be how we wanted, and use the kitchenette at any time, while helping with advice whenever we needed it and going out of their way to help with issues such as car rental at very...

The room was quite spacious, especially for Europe. Landlord was extremely helpful. His english isn't great but he really tries and loves give you tips for finding food and making your most of out of pompeii. The runes are a short stroll down the street. TIP: Ensure you buy food / water before visiting the runes. Food is much better...

It was a bargain, room was surprisingly large (for Europe). Very clean en suite. Landlord had breakfast ready whatever time I asked. I am an early riser by habit, not by choice-no problem. This is the typical Italian breakfast, croissants, yougart, biscuits, fruit juice, you have choices. It is Served hot in your room, with a US and italien flag...

What a delight to find this wonderful B&B in Pompei! The room was clean, modern, quiet, comfortable and fresh! Salvatore was beyond helpful, giving us advice on activities, transport, dining and hints to make our stay in Pompei more enjoyable. This establishment in my opinion was far superior to the 4 star hotels we stayed in many other cities in...

Traveling through Italy and staying in budget accommodation, this was our favourite b&b. Salvatore, the owner/concierge (?) was helpful, friendly and went out of his way to make our stay pleasant and help us (when we required). Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, bed was great (unlike many of the mini beds or twins stuck...

Dolcevita was great value for our money and the host Salvatore made it a fantastic stay. With his limited knowledge of english he went out of his way to communicate and tell us more about Pompeii in general and how to get around and visit Mt Vesuvius. He even went as far as using Google Translator on a small Laptop...

We stayed here for one night. The room was nice and clean, enjoyed the small balcony to step out on. The street during the day is very busy, but was quiet at night. We could hear others out in the corridor throughout the night though, but this was standard in all the B&B's that we stayed in. No big bother....
