This is an excellent place to stay if you want to visit the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, and to climb Vesuvius. The Pompeii site is within easy walking distance. Herculaneum and Vesuvius are short drives away. Martina and Salvatore -- sister and brother -- are very pleasant and eager to please. Salvatore is quite knowledgeable about ancient Pompeii. They...

We stayed here one night to see the ruins of Pompeii. The stay was comfortable and Martina was accommodating and helpful with suggestions for dinner plans and things to do around the area. The included breakfast was also delicious (see croissant picture attached). Would gladly stay again!

For the past 20-odd years my life and work have taken me to many places and I have spent nights in a huge number of hotels and guest houses. I have seen the whole range from appalling to exceptional and Martina & Salvatore’s House of Plinio is truly exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there which included dinner, bed and...

Martina is a most wonderful host. Very clean, comfortable and walking distance to old & new Pompeii. We had a most enjoyable stay. It is as advertised and more (Martina recommended a most wonderful restaurant, Zaira and awoke extra early to make us a wonderful breakfast with fresh croissant at 7 am!)

What a great find. Easy 10 minute walk from the train station. Salvatore was standing outside waiting for us. Not aware he was our host we kept telling him we have a reservation for another place. There were 3 of us sharing a very ample room. The room was exactly like we saw on trip advisor. The breakfast was awesome!!...

I loved the brother/sister duo that ran this establishment. They have big dreams for their future. The room was very nice, modern, and beautifully decorated. Once inside the establishment I felt very safe. There is a little bit of a but here, the surroundings around the B&B are a little frightening, and we had a lot of difficulty actually finding...

The B@B is located within easy walking distance of the ruins of Pompeii which were truly amazing. On arrival Martina gave us detailed information on the best points of interest to see as we only had the afternoon to visit. This proved very useful as the site is enormous. She very kindly printed off our boarding passes, recommended an excellent...

We arrived at La Casa di Plinio and were met by Martina's mom Antonella, who was so nice. We had washed laundry the night before, but it rained, and Antonella rinsed it and found a drying rack for us. Thank you! Martina and her brother Salvatore made a great breakfast for us and gave us some advice on how to...
