Short holiday for me and a friend, to get out of Rome and enjoy the fresh air, sea and sunshine. Viola is a nice hotel, simpel rooms, but new furniture, comfortable beds , nice reception staff and a good breakfast. Nothing special but nothing bad either. The location is fantastic....5 minutes walk (maybe even less) to the beach and close to centre and historical centre to shop or have a bit to eat.

Great location a couple of minute walk from the beach. We had triple room 102 at the front of the hotel. It was spacious and had a balcony with table and chairs. Furniture was new as well as doors and windows. Perhaps the next improvement might be a shower screen to replace the curtain. Italian breakfast was delicious with a few different cakes. The owner very kindly allowed a late check-out. Booking through the hotel website was cheaper than other sites. Parking is quite expensive in Gaeta but in low season we managed to find a free spot in one of the very few free parking lots (viale Napoli, behind the hotel).

+ Great helpful modest staff.
+ Rooms are a bit outdated but clean.
(We had the big Family room on the third floor with a huge balcony)
+ Airconditioning on request.
+ Hotel near the beach (3 min).
+ Breakfast was mainly very sweet with lots of cake and pie.

- Maybe some more information about activities in Gaeta region?

I've been here for 5 days with my children (3 and 5) and in-laws.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The air conditioning is centralized, and every room is independently controlled (ON/OFF and temperature) from the reception. Just call, 24/7, and they'll do it for you.

The pastry at breakfast was always extremely fresh, delicious!

It's a very short walk from Serapo's beach, and close to the central part of the town, with shops and restaurants. There's a playground less than a block from the hotel.

Very clean hotel, in a strategic position close to the beach and boasting an efficient and very friendly staff.
The attention to the customer, the goodness of the breakfast (Italian style) and the sufficiently spacious rooms will certainly make us return.
I thank Mrs. Danila at the reception and the director Mrs. Leda for their great availability.

2 star hotel, but it deserves at least 4 if only for the attention to the customer and all his needs, for the willingness to solve any problem as long as the customer is satisfied. You feel pampered!
Clean structure both in the rooms and in the common areas, breakfast (dessert only) more than sufficient in quantity and quality and served outdoors.
The presence - at the entrance of the structure - of a quiet outdoor space where you can spend time makes your stay easier.

The impression is excellent from the outside, and then it is confirmed by what you touch with your hands. A good organization with clean, airy and tidy rooms. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful with different types of cakes and croissants. Excellent location near the beaches and the seafront that leads to the medieval city. Excellent quality-price relation. It's a shame about the lack of internal parking, although you can take advantage of the numerous blue spaces along the road.

Found it while browsing through Booking, it turned out to be a truly pleasant discovery.
The hotel has a convenient location to the beaches, is very well kept and clean. Our room, spacious and comfortable (despite there being no mini fridge or safe), had a small terrace, equipped with a table, two chairs and a drying rack with pegs, very useful for drying washed costumes. Buffet breakfast always rich and varied, as well as quality, and hotel staff kind, friendly and helpful. Much more than a two star!

Avete un parcheggio per l'auto? Se non lo avete come bisogna fare? Grazie
Answer from Leda V
Gaeta, Lazio, Italy1 contribution1 helpful vote
Cordiali saluti
