We loved our stay at the Martis Hotel. Location is absolutely perfect...walking distance to all the best attractions in Rome!! Staff was attentive, and very customer service oriented. Room was incredibly clean...and I'm pretty picky. Breakfast included was AMAZING!! Make a point to wander up to the rooftop deck for coffee or sunset views. You won't regret!

Really glad to have found this hotel as it's right where you want to stay- you can walk everywhere. We are a family of 5 and had room 107- which is two floors- and the upstairs room was 3 twins with their own bathroom and door for privacy. Anything we asked of the hotel was taken care of immediately- and really nice. The one problem was our wifi- it was really bad and we had to often go sit in the lobby library to access it. My husband had work calls that continually dropped until he decided to work from the lobby the whole afternoon. The front desk tried to help but it never took- and that's a real downside for travel for us! If this was working, it would have been 5 stars for sure. A/c worked great and beds were firm and sheets smelled super clean. Breakfast was great as was the service.

Words cannot describe our amazing experience staying at this hotel. Everything was absolutely great – the room, the breakfast, the location, the staff – everything! We booked a deluxe room, but when we arrived we were offered an upgrade to a junior suite for only 20 euros extra per night – which we gladly took. The location of the hotel is perfect – 2 minutes to piazza Navona, 5 minutes to the Pantheon, 10 minutes to Piazza Venezia, 5 minutes to campo di fiori and lots of restaurants around! The room was totally amazing! WOW! Huge, the bed was very big and comfi, big windows, and the bathroom were very specious and very very clean.   The breakfast was amazing, everything was very fresh and tasty, the hotel's restaurant was nice and quiet, and the coffee was awesome!! A great way to start your day! The hotel has a roof terrace with amazing views of the city – where you can sit and order coffee or a drink from the hotel bar. One morning we ordered coffee to our room – and got 2 cups of coffee and 2 croissants and they did not even charge us extera for that!  The staff was super nice and helpful, especially Carlo and Jon at the reception.   We had an amazing stay and will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who is going to Rome!! And will definitely return to this hotel!!

On arrival we were offered froendly welcome with complimentary cappuccinos in the library. We were given a little map and kindly shown all points of interest which was very handy for our first visit to Rome. We stayed in the junior suite which was modern and spotlessly clean with extremely comfortable furnishings and a huge bed. Our bathroom had a massive walk-in shower with gorgeous toiletries to use. Breakfast is truly scrumptious with a few hot options including delicious scrambled eggs (our favourite), pastries, cereals, fruit, a variety of breads, croissants, jams, yoghurts, cheeses, ham and of course their amazing cappuccinos. Make sure you visit the roof top terrace to take in the awesome views; sunsets are breathtaking across the city. Martis Palace Hotel is, in our opinion, in the perfect location to explore. Most places are no more than 20 mins walk away and it is the best way to see everything. We only caught a taxi once (but only as we had an early tour at The Vatican City) but walked back. As we left at 0700hrs for the tour, we were offered a 'takeaway' breakfast as we had no time to eat in the hotel. Perfect for us and we could not believe how much was included, such a generous amount and all so fresh and tasty. All staff could not have been more helpful, including storing our luggage in a safe place on our last day, to collect for our late flight. Special thanks to Carlo for looking after us. I hope to return again next year and will definitely be back in touch again. Martis Palace Hotel is highly recommended by us.

We loved this hotel from rooms, reception, breakfast, and restaurant. traveling with my 84 yr old Mum who has lots of needs. Martis palace accommodated them all--walk in shower, grab bars on toilet, extra towels, even stored her rented WC when we weren't using it. Lovely roof top bar for a drink. They called to make dinner reservations for us, offered us a bigger room for 3 of us but we declined due to one of our party snores! Deluxe room was large and lovely. Small single was fine for one of us. It would have been doable for 2 of us as well. Very responsive via email and online booking was a breeze. If we go to Rome again, would happily stay in this hotel. They were kind, thoughtful little touches every where.
