Nice hotel with good breakfast. Stayed 6 nights. Central location if you prefer Trastevere like us. Friendly staff and a service oriented bartender ☺️ We had room 125 and there were stairs just outside the window. A lot of loud talking from drunk people on their way from town all night.....

This is a beautiful hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is within walking distance of many wonderful attractions in Rome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered many good choices.

This ex-convent is glorious, with excellent service, good location and beautiful internal gardens. Because it echoes a lot and outside one can hear mopeds and revellers, I would not return. Please be aware it is most noisy

Good bed, good breakfast (juice selection was a bit poor and tasted like a concentrate But they had nutella at breakfast). Room was quite spacious and had a nice atmosphere. Strong 3 stars, almoust weak 4. No pool but nice roof terrace which is open at summer. And nice garden too. What annoyed me a bit (a lot) was jazz...

This is as close to a perfect hotel as it gets - staff, decor, breakfast, garden, beds, views out over the whole of Rome. One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The breakfast buffet was incredible, everything you want, from pitch perfec cappucinos on tap to crossiants, to scrambled eggs, including lots of salads and cheeses and also...

Just returned from a 3 night stay with a group of old school friends. We had 4 rooms booked and the standard varied wildly. I was fortunate to get an upgrade, so my "suite" was very good. We had a garden view and very little noise. The plumbing however, left a lot to be desired. Very little pressure in the shower...

My wife and I stayed for four nights this week. It was our first visit to Rome. We chose the hotel as it sounded quiet and restful but within short walking distance of the city and within minutes of Trastavere restaurants. This proved to be correct. We were warmly welcomed by a very helpful gentleman on arrival who talked us...

The hotel is in a really lovely area - Trastevere, which is perfect for restaurants, bars, evening entertainment etc. It is an easy half hour walk from there to all the major sites in Rome such as the Vatican, the Coloseum, Pantheon etc. It is not a cheap hotel and we were disappointed in the room as we had expected...

Where do I start with this hotel? The place is simply perfect! I was looking for a hotel which had some history but at the same time wasn't "tired" to take my husband for his birthday. I wasn't disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the extremely helpful staff and given suggestions about restaurants and other things...

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
