We stayed our full 9 days in Rome here, and have only the best memories. Not only were the facilities excellent, the hosts are superb. This place has the location, hosts, facilities and value - couldn't ask for more. Of course, we did choose to stay in the low season, which made the value best. We were both sick with... More

Quod Libet is up there as one of the best B&Bs ever. It is conveniently situated walking distance from the Vatican and the A line Metro. We were given a warm welcome on arrival. In fact Augustino and Luca were the best hosts and genuinely concerned for our comfort and that we made the most of our stay in Rome.... More

We started our vacation at QuodLibet and couldn't have been happier. Augustine greeted us when we arrived from our overnight flight from the U.S. and immediately offered coffee, juice, and pastries. Although check-in wasn't scheduled until later in the day, one of our rooms was ready and made available to us then so we could leave our luggage and freshen... More

We loved our stay at QuodLibet in the Prati neighborhood of Rome. The location is just a few blocks from the Vatican. It is 1 block from the red metro line with very easy access to all the well-known sites. We walked everywhere, but the metro is very convenient. Augustino and Luca are exceptional hosts. They are always accessible and... More

We were happy to stay at this B&B as a last stop during 2 weeks trip to Italy. Room is very clean and spacious. Guest can use kitchen and store drink and food in refrigerator. Convenient location to the Vatican. Agostino , owner, welcomed us with drink and gave excellent guidance for sightseeing and restaurant. As we had to depart... More

Quod Libet is an excellent choice for staying in Rome. We were friendly welcomed by Agostino. With a drink he explained us what and how to visit this magnificent city. We stayed in the spring room. A jolly and clean room with comfortable bed and enough space. Bathroom is nice with good amenities. Only watch out while taking a shower.... More

This B&B was the best located of any on our entire trip. We went from the airport to the room in less than 45m. The B&B is steps from a metro train station, only minutes from the Vatican and maybe 20-30 minutes from the major attractions of Rome. We walked everywhere and hardly needed to use public transportation. The rooms... More

Reading many reviews on tripadvisor you wonder how true some are or if its just people having a whinge or over exaggerating. However this is not the case with this property it is no wonder that it has so many glowing reviews and is very deserving of its number 1 rating .The experience was like stayng with Italian family and... The bed and breakfast is situated in a grand apartment building about a 5-10 minute walk from the Vatican. The room was spacious, bright, modern and clean. It had a lovely ensuite, high ceilings and large windows. There was also a modern air-conditioning system - very effective and very quiet. We were met at the airport and when we arrived... More

We spent 3 nights in Rome in at the start of August. We found Quod Libet (QL) through our online research and booked well in advance for our stay in Rome. And I am so glad we stayed there! QL is on the top floor of an apartment. It looked newly done up with comfortable rooms. Agostinos, who hosted us... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
