We stayed at la piccola maison a few days ago. We were arriving past the check in time by at least an hour or so, and gave not even 24 hours notice that we would be doing so (Rome was a very last minute trip!). Giorgio emailed back insisting that this wasn't a problem and offered a taxi service to...

I had read the reviews about this place and how friendly and helpful Barbara is, and it was all true! The location is wonderful - close to shopping, easy access to the hop-on, hop-off bus, taxis, metro, restaurants, and within walking distance to a number of the sights including the Trevi, Spanish Steps and others. Barbara goes above and beyond...

My wife and I spent a combined, extended 9 days of holidays/business in Rome. We lucked upon this place through other reviews and the location near Barberini Metro was an attractive feature. We DEFINITELY made the right choice! Barbara and Giorgio were very helpful even before arriving. They arranged and re-arranged a taxi pick-up at Fiumicino that was waiting for...

We are a couple and stayed at La Piccola Maison for one night at the beginning of our trip. The highlight of the hotel is the people, the room is comfortable, clean and well furnished. Negatives are- no elevator, no breakfast. The Room: Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was firm- what I would call the Italian standard-...

Just back from a fantastic trip to Rome, My girlfriend and I were well looked after by Barbara who was informative, friendly and very helpful. We originally booked into a small double room to save a few ££'s as we were only there for one night, however Barbara bumped us up to their premier room as it was vacant for...

At the heart of Rome, I was very pleased with the value I got for the price I paid. I would definitely recommend it. + The staff was very reactive when contacted through email. + The location is great + You can ask then to arrange a well priced 40Eur pick-up from the Airport to the hotel.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
