We loved this B & B and it was very convenient to the Vatican and the bus/train routes. Lots of restaurants (reasonable) in the area & in walking distance. Lovely park walking distance (up the hill) Raffaele & Giuliano were great hosts, helpful about places & sights to go and see -- served a lovely breakfast which kept us going...

Alessandro III B&B is more like a boutique hotel than a B&B. There are only three rooms. The manager (fluent in English) has lots of advice concerning where to go, what to see, where to eat, etc. The rooms are a generous size. Beds are low, reflecting modern Italian furniture. Location is close to the Vatican. Also close to bus...

My wife and I loved this B&B. It's in the perfect location for visiting the Vatican and still in a good location for taking the bus. Bus 64 runs late and takes you through Rome to Termini Station. Very convenient!

The B&B was a bit more minimalistic, which fit the price. It was the perfect location for visiting St. Peter's and the Vatican. The breakfast was good and the room was very comfortable. Raffaele is the perfect host and gave us great recommendations. It's a nice walk to Trastevere, which we did twice for dinner. I will say that the...

Like someone has said previous, we weren't sure if we were in the right place, until someone called out our names from s window. Is was Raphael the owner.he said he'd been looking out for us, and it's this little personal touch that sets it apart. I need an adapter, he got me one. Needed something printed off, only too...

When we first arrived at the Alessandro III we weren't sure we were in the right place. However our taxi driver assured us that we had arrived. An unassuming building in a side street near St Peters Square, it didn't look like any hotel we'd ever stayed in. Our first impression was correct, The Alessandro III is like nowhere we...

Stayed here on a quick business trip to Rome. The location of the B&B is perfect. Just a stone's throw from the Vatican, and less than a 5 min walk from St. Peter's Square. The metro station for San Pietro is very close by. There is also a taxi-stand not too far from the B&B. The B&B itself is in...

I have stayed at Alessandro III twice in the past two months. It is a true gem of a B&B and the location could not be better. Your hosts, Raffaele and Giulianio, are two knowledgeable gentlemen and make you feel very welcome. You are less than a 5 minute walk from St. Peter's Square and one block from buses to...
