We spent 4 nights in Palazzo Olivia for Christmas. The room was amazing, a huge apartment with a living room and a bedroom. The bathroom were a little bit small and we didn't have a huge variety of food for breakfast.
Palazzo Olivia has a very convenient location, which is walking distance to all the major tourist sites in Rome. The owner, Francesco, is accommodating. The beds are comfortable. However, beyond that, the hotel has nothing to offer. It is dirty. My pillow smelled like the...More
We stayed at Palazzo Olivia because we knew it was owned by the same people as Cassiodoro19, which we'd also stayed at and loved. But there were no similarities between the two hotels which was unfortunate (and actually upsetting at times).

Just returned from a lovely week in Rome, we stayed in Apt 304 which was very clean and had a separate sitting area. Couldn't fault the place apart from you can here every movement of the people above you due to the wooden ceilings and...More
We have stayed several times and you just can't bet the location - lots of very good bars and restaurants nearby (non touristy).

With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.

William & Gloria, Kim is correct, Jennifer is wonderful and she would be the best to help you out. We took a car service from the airport to the hotel as we did not need a car in Rome. Everything is within walking distance if you enjoy walking. My suggestion is if you do get a car, get a SMALL one as parking is tough.
