This hotel offers good clean basic accommodation with everything we needed for a few nights & centrally placed for all tourist attractions, ideal for anyone on a budget. Staff were friendly and very helpful, but watch which site you book through, if you want a basic breakfast, some are room only for same price, breakfast is only a pastry orange...

We have spent here 5 great days with our large family. Location is very good, you don´t have to use public transport, it´s nearby St. Maria Maggiore, you can walk to Colloseum in 10 minutes, Trevi 15 minutes. There is round a corner Via Urbana, very trendy street with great street food places. The rooms are simple, cosy and clean....

Great location, clean room and good price were the key ingredients to an enjoyable stay at the Cesare Balbo. Our room was large, with all of the basics and some fast wi-fi as well. The property is less than 1 minute walk from some cafe's and shops, about 10 minute walk from the Colosseum and about 15 mintues walk from...

I was in email contact with Luca before we arrived regarding directions to the hotel. He let us know what to do when we reached the airport and the train station so finding the hotel was very easy. It was a short 10 minute walk from the train station to the hotel. Luca welcomed us when we arrived. The hotel...

This was my second stay at Cesare Balbo Inn, and the second time I've been really pleased. The actual rooms are good, and a comfortable place to stay for the night. Also, it's a 10 minute walk down to the Colosseum and the walk is a very nice one. Interesting restaurants along the way and very lively in the late...

My twin sister and I stayed at this location and absolutely loved it! Both Glenn and Luca were so warm and friendly and were more than willing to go out of their way to accommodate our needs and to map out directions for us. We had to fly out of Rome at the end of our trip and because we...

We loved out stay at Cesar Balbo (2011). I almost don’t want to leave a review as these are the little gems of Europe that keep us coming back. The place is really well located, close the Termini, about a 10 minute walk to St. Peter in Chains and the Colosseum. It’s only 3-4 rooms on the bottom floor of...
