Please save yourself from a terrible experience. This hotel says it's 4 stars, no way. Peeling wall paper, stained rugs throughout, walls crumbling, moldy showers and sinks are the amenities here. Upon arrive we were unhappy and asked to see other rooms. We looked at 4 and found the same, or worse in the others. They set the air conditioning...

Hotel was in a superb location, easy to walk to most of the tourist sites in Rome. It also has a roof terrace which is a nice touch. Apart from that it is pretty basic. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Same with the rooms, they were clean but also they were a bit dated. But you pay for what you...

We stayed here two nights on our way to Sicily. The location of the hotel is excellent, but that's about it really. The hotel lacks any soul - there are no flowers, no pictures, but there are plenty of mosquitoes!! The guest lounge is full of them. There are some old plants in each corner of the hotel and some...

My husband and I and two friends stayed at the Pace Elvezia in April of this year. The rooms were fairly roomy by Rome standards and clean. There was a rooftop terrace with fabulous views and it was convenient to some of the main attractions. We were there when the volcano was erupting and causing severe flight cancellations. The hotel...

My husband and I have just returned from 5 days in Rome and if I was going toRome again, I would pick this hotel. It's right in the centre of Rome so you can easily walk to all the sites. OK, the bedrooms aren't huge but they have everything you need.......you 're not going to spend much time in your...

We stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon in April. This hotel was our most expensive hotel out of the 8 we stayed in on our trip and it was the Pits. It is located centrally to all of the major sites Rome has to offer. We arrived at 1.30pm and check in is after 1pm and our room...

The hotel is worth for its location, steps away from Fontana di Trevi, Coliseum and Roman Forum. The rooms are very old and simple, but spacious (we were a couple and a child ) and clean. The beds were not comfortable. The bathroom was spacious also, but the shower looked like the ones in a cruise ship, very very small....

Booked this 4 star hotel online for what we thought was a great rate but out of the many hotels we stayed at during our holiday, we found this one to be the most expensive but also the lowest in quality too. From outside Pace Elvezia looks grand and pretty, even the foyer and reception desk area is pleasant. There...

Hotel is old and needs refurbishment. Rooms are good size and bathroom large. We stayed for a week on B&B basis. No real bar at night however with all Rome at your doorstep, no main worry. Breakfasts poor, no real orange juice, coffe from a machine and room to small for size of hotel. Reception staff friendly and helpful and...

We stayed here 5-7th June, meeting up with my brother and sister in law, who was celebrating her 40th. We were very pleased to discover that it was more than we had hoped for. Our room on the 5th floor had a lovely little balcony. We booked a double room and this consisted of two singles pushed together which from...
