Very clean, very polite. Good location to sites and train station. We had a coffee machine in the room and a light breakfast. We would stay here again in the future. Our first night in Rome was at another b&b- no comparison.

This B&B is excellent. Don't be put off by the entrance, once through the door the transformation is amazing. The décor is bright and welcoming. Our room was clean, well furnished and comfortable with a well appointed toilet and shower (no bath). The room included mini-bar and a safe. The staff were very welcoming and obliging, giving lots of tips...

We only had a two night stay and in hindsight, this should be the first and only choice for accommodations in Rome! Very convenient location, near two metro stops and the Termini station. Safe area at night. Lively street below his 4th floor B&B. We had the room facing the street so if you're a light sleeper, ask for a...

I don't think I can say enough nice things about this b&b. It is in a lovely building with the perfect distance to all the sights and convenient to the train station (which you can catch from the airport). It is a lovely building with marble floors and very comfortable beds. The owner is a youngish man named Paulo, and...

This B&B is located in a walking distance from Piazza Nazionale/Piazza della Republica, and very close to Termini train station. The B&B inside is lovely, clean, and quiet . It is an older building but very charming. The B&B feels very homey and the owner made our experience wonderful. The B&B is located in...

Choosing this place to stay during our Rome vacation was based upon positive reviews. I did not realize it is only a three unit bed and breakfast until after the booking. It was my mistake for not taking more time to read, but definitely not my mistake for choosing it. The booking process was very easy and the owner contacted...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
