Our first trip to Rome, we were very pleased to have such a friendly and insightful host, Paolo. He provided useful tips and helped us navigate a tight itinerary ensuring we got the most out of our trip. The location is moments from the Vatican down a relatively quiet street off the main square. The rooms were of good size...

I have never met such an enthusiastic or knowledgeable young man. He knows his city inside out and is happy to share it. Paolo is generous with his time and shares his 'hidden gems' of Rome with his customers. The bedroom was big and the en suite was sparkling - just loved the Zara fluffy towels. A very pleasant experience.

Stayed for 5 nights. The location is fantastic: very near to Vatican (can see the wall @ the street) & metro. Many eating places including Chinese & Japanese foods that opens until 11pm. Many convenient stores, cafes & shops too. The area is very safe & quiet The host, Paolo is very welcoming and the room is cleaned everyday Highly...

My family including husband and adult children stayed for several days in Rome after our daughter's wedding. The location, rooms, and service were wonderful. Paolo was very nice, accommodating, and helpful. He explained how to get about Rome, sites to see, and restaurants to visit. He arranged our transportation to the airport when our stay ended. We would highly recommend...

My wife and I stayed for three nights in the Red Room. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were at home. The owner, Paolo, goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable during your stay in Rome. After welcoming us in, Paolo showed us around the B&B and then had us sit with him in the...

The guesthouse is located near the Vatican Museum and St. Peter Basilica, and the Metro station is about tthree blocks away. The neighborhood is in a quiet area not frequented too much by cars or buses but restaurants and some shops are nearby. The Stanza Rosa room where i stayed was clean, well-kept and it reflected a hint of European...

I highly reccomend this accommodation. It's impresively clean and comfortable and in a very safe area next to the Vatican wall. The owner, Paolo, is a lovely man who helps you get the most from your trip to Rome. He provided information, recommendations and a map which we found very useful. He also arranged transport for us to and from...

If you're trip to Rome is more for the Vatican than for Ancient Rome, then you've found the perfect lodging. First, the location is literally steps from the Vatican, equipped with AC, a big (for Italy) shower, and a decent breakfast. Second, Paolo is an excellent host. He takes the time to explain the neighborhood to you upon arrival and...

B&B Cuscino & Cappuccino is a real gem of a place just a few hundred metres from the Vatican. The accommodation is very comfortable and spotlessly clean and our room on the inside of the building was nice and quiet. The start of the show though has to be Paolo. Very relaxed and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
