You can eat here without staying at the site. Need to make reservations if you are going with a group. 4-5 courses-with wine is around 17 EURO. This is a large dining hall that is not fancy or formal but is authentic italy! There is lodging available too. Within walking distance of the Vatican (though it is a hike).

Just outside the Vatican Walls, very close to Rome City Centre. Basic accommodation compensated by abundant food served both at lunch and dinner at extremely competitive prices not to mention fantastic breakfasts. If available stay in the wing not directly on the road as some 100 meters away there is a Hospital and ambulances are busy during the night! Extremely...

This clean, modestly priced pensione sits on Vatican Hill, a 15 minute walk to the Basilica of St Peter. The staff was multi-lingual and the night I arrived late, arranged for the last dinner of the night before the kitchen closed. Staff had suggestions on all kinds of needs, from ATM machine to calling cabs, which are a real bargain...

Just returned from the Eternal City...awesome experience. One of the highlights of being in Rome was finding this gem of a restaurant. You don't have to lodge at the facility to enjoy their dining experience. For 17.50 euro you enjoy a sumptuous 4 course meal beginning with home-made pasta, fresh tossed salad, main entrée of meat/vegetable, and finally dessert and...

Our group of 40 stayed 2 nights here. Staff very courteous. Everything simple and ultra clean. Our room had 5 beds for the 2 of us. Food was good. Some take-out beverages and snacks available for purchase at very modest prices. Easy walk to Vatican Museum. Would definitely come back if staying in Rome again.

The place was most accommodating; the staff friendly and professional. The rooms were spacious, especially the shower room and toilet. Food was very good and plenty. I would recommend this place to any and all visitors. The only regret and an important one is the poor internet. I saw people, like myself, roaming the corridors to get an internet wifi...

Everything about this place is terrific taking into consideration the community it serves. True, breakfasts are, indeed, basic: continental type (croissant, roll, jam, butter, coffee - Italian style: frothy with frothy milk (try it if you've never had it), yogurt, but the fixed price and fixed menu lunch and dinner are anything but basic including first and second courses (pasta...

I try to stay here whenever I'm in Rome. This hotel is quiet and is surrounded by a lovely garden with a grotto for prayer and meditation. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the gates of Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel/Vatican Museum. There is also a bus stop right across the street (Via Aurelia) which goes into the...

Evening meals are set , but if a vegetarian option is required , then it can be provided No problems - just ask the Fathers. EUR 16.50 gets you a pasta course, meat course, cheese,...

This property is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. They serve breakfast (included), lunch and dinner. The food is FANTASTIC and moderately priced! They even have a tiny bar where you can have a cafe anytime of day or purchase a glass or bottle of wine and take it out to the patio to enjoy under the huge trees....
