Great small hotel in an ideal location for visiting all the sights in Rome. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated the booklet the owner prepared offering his personal recommendations for what to see in the neighborhood where his family have lived and, of course, where to eat. We really felt we were staying with local friends....

We stayed here in early Sept. Excellent location though the staff really make this place. Nothing too much trouble. One night in a Double Delux and another in a Studio Delux. Extra cost for the larger room was well worth it. Highly recommend the Mario de'Fiori 37 and would definitely return.

I look for small hotels with personal service in a great location. We only had a short time in Rome so this was perfect. You couldn't get a better location and the rooms were well equipped, with staff eager to help. Can highly recommend it and would stay again.

We spent two nights at Mario de' Fiori and it was a fantastic choice. Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, this hotel is first class quality all the way. The best parts, in no particular order: - The Bed. It's not often in Rome hotels you can find affordable accommodations with a full king size bed thats comfortable. This...

I stayed here for one night recently on a business trip to Rome. It was ideally located just 5-10 minute's walk from Piazza del Popolo and 2 minutes from the Spanish steps. The staff were very helpful and I was very happy with the high quality finish of the room. I would stay there again but probably wouldn't pay the...

Location was awesome. Room/bathroom facilities were great. The maze-like corridors were quaint/bordering on a bit too close.A bit of distracting street noise below, but added to the charm of the place. Would definitely recommend.

Not many people have mentioned their fantastic air-conditioning on premise especially in the sweltering heat at the end of August in Rome. We stayed in another boutique hotel in piazza navona few nights before and the AC was so weak that it was probably cooler outside than inside our room. Many of our friends experienced the same thing. We moved...
