We stayed each day to understand how right it was to choose Singer Palace Hotel for our four-day Roman vacation. With excellent decor, spotlessly clean spaces, great breakfasts and dinners, they''re well-served with attentive rooms. For breakfast or dinner, there are varieties and flavors you won’t miss another option. They''ll be pleased to surprise you with the courtesy of the employees. Each of our breakfasts was delicious thanks to these courteous approaches. All drink options, fresh fruit and juices. They''re truly amazing, with warm bakeries and fried bread and butter rituals each morning. They leave notes and snacks in our room each evening, preparing the room for sleep, like bedding and towels. Plus, they''ve got a walk-in location that allows you to explore Newbie sights on the go—all the must-do in Rome. You can walk to Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Vatican, and more, from 5 to 35 minutes, depending on how far you want to look. They''re situated close to cafes, restaurants, and shops for shopping. It’s important to open a separate parenthesis for employees, but they’re very efficient and helpful and very genuine. It’s hard not to say thank you very much to each of them and a special thank you to Mrs. Nilüfer, who comes with us to Istanbul as the most precious gift of our cuisine. A thank you to Marziyeh Hosseini for sharing the route, restaurant recommendations, and all of his help. No doubt, stay at Singer Palace Hotel with relaxation and enjoy Rome. We hope, see you again. Grazie mille per tutto.

I can’t say enough about my two weeks of lavish hospitality at the Singer Palace Hotel! I’m a widow who sometimes must travel alone, and the gracious staff took care of me perfectly from long before my arrival until the moment I left. From arranging for drivers from and to FCO, beautiful flowers and snacks in my room, frequent meals both “en camera” or in the restaurant or bar, assisting with taxis, helping with cash when my debit card finked out on me, providing lovely large umbrellas on wet, chilly days, keeping my wardrobe in perfect condition through their laundry services, receiving packages and delivering them to my room, and on and on — this charming boutique hotel turned into my Roman home.

Fabulous. We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights and I must say that this establishment is fabulous. Already it is perfectly located in the historic district and the roof terrace is incredible, with a splendid view of Rome. We had a very comfortable and spacious terrace suite with the added bonus of a large, very pleasant terrace. We loved all the little touches from the staff. Everyone was very smiley and did their best to please us. We loved the bottle offered on our arrival as well as the fruit and treats platter. We also extremely appreciated the very efficient room service which comes several times a day (but without ever disturbing us) so that each time we returned to our room, everything was perfect all the time, the water bottles replaced , restocked fruit and cupcake platters. The breakfasts were refined and plentiful and served at the table with elegance: this is much appreciated. Finally, I would like to salute the great professionalism of the entire team and especially Alessandro who brightened our stay thanks to his availability, his efficiency in always satisfying us and even in anticipating our slightest desires. We will return to Rome because we loved this city and we will return to this magical hotel.

Fantastic experience at Singer Palace! The service throughout our stay was exceptional. We arrived early in the morning well before check in time and were immediately welcomed and treated to a relaxing and delicious complimentary breakfast on the upper terrace. The hotel staff helped us get familiar with Rome and what we could do while we enjoyed coffee and fresh pastries before eating our full breakfast. Our room was a sanctuary with beautiful appointments, a gorgeous marble bathroom, high quality bedding and excellent air conditioning. We even had an in room snack zone with a personal note, towel refresh services and turn down service every evening. Plus, we were allowed to check in 4 hours early which made it possible for us to enjoy Rome even sooner than we planned. Our every need was met as we toured the city-- water bottles (both tap and sparkling) any time we wanted it, fan (gift) to stay cool, umbrella, taxi service and assistance with restaurants reservations or tickets for sites. The hotel is in an excellent location and very manageable to walk to most sites but feels private and peaceful when inside. We loved the rooftop bar and enjoyed it before and after dinner. The drink prices were a bit high but the view and ambiance was worth it. We also thoroughly enjoyed the amazing breakfast experiences--each meal memorable and delicious. As we departed we were supported with travel arrangements, waters for our day and a beautiful parting gift. We were blown away by this exceptional hotel and will look forward to going back!

Dear Camper33207830774, What an incredible story of your time at Singer Palace! We are genuinely honored by your kind words, and it is a privilege to have contributed to such memorable moments for you here in Rome. From the moment you arrived, we wanted to create an experience that welcomed you to the heart of this ancient city with the warmth and comfort of a true sanctuary. Starting your day with breakfast on our terrace was our pleasure—it’s a space that brings together the flavors of fresh pastries and Italian coffee with views over Rome that truly set the scene for an unforgettable stay. Your room, with its fine marble and luxurious bedding, was designed to be a restful retreat with the charm of the Art Deco, the comfort of the Simmons mattresses and the modernity of all the amenities needed for your home away from home, and it’s wonderful to know you found it to be just that. Each evening, our cleaning team thoughtfully prepared your room with personalized touches, from the turn-down service to the snack zone and amenities. These details are meant to enhance the sense of home within a grand, historic setting. We are also delighted that our location allowed you to easily explore Rome. As you know, Rome is a city layered with history, wonder, and experiences that stay with you long after you’ve left. It’s said that “A lifetime is not enough for Rome,” and we know how true this statement is. Between all those iconic monuments known all over the world and the many less-known treasures, like the Capuchin’s Crypt and its peculiar and macabre décor made with the bones of the monks, that await, ready to be discovered, our team strives to make each day in the Eternal City effortless by providing everything you might need, from water and umbrellas to assistance with reservations and suggestions for your outings. We are thrilled that these services, together with a few extras like the fan and early check-in, helped you enjoy the city even more. Our entire team, from the breakfast service to your parting arrangements, treasures creating such moments for our guests. Our rooftop bar and its views, combined with the ambiance of Le Terrazze, are part of what makes Singer Palace so magical in the evenings. As you mentioned, the experience of sipping a drink with the iconic cityscape as a backdrop is one we love to share with guests. Federica’s award-winning mixtures are all delicious and we suggest, among all of them, the cocktail “Per non dimenticar” (“Not to forget”), perfect to impress that stunning sight. Even as the day winds down, we aim to offer that quintessential Roman atmosphere, one that continues to make each evening special. Thank you once again for sharing your journey with us. We look forward to welcoming you back, ready with all the details that make every visit feel unique. Carpe Diem Michela Visocchi - Hotelier

This was a very nice hotel in the center of Rome. We really appreciated being able to walk to a lot of the major tourist sites. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and they made sure we had everything we asked for. We arrived at around 11am and were met at the taxi by the manager and bell boy, and all our bags were promptly taken care of. We were ushered to the rooftop for welcome drinks and then our room was ready at about noon. This was nice to have early. In our room, all our bags were already set up for us on luggage racks, a very nice touch.

The room air conditioning was strong, cold, and adjustable, wonderful for summer in Rome. The room (suite) itself was spacious, with a bed, desk, and sofa bed. The bathroom was a little annoying with the door blocking the way to the toilet, but overall it was fine. They provided some very special amenities for our child - child slippers, bathroom, bath products for babies, and a cot, which was a very nice touch.

Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and made to order. Service was friendly and attentive, and all the staff we met were fantastic. We had an early morning tour one of the days and they were very quick at serving the food so we could go. Each time we entered the hotel we were met with lovely welcoming smiles and chocolates offered to our child. They even packed us a small bag of chocolates for our departure.

The reason this is not 5 stars is because of two reasons:

1. The value for the price paid - we paid 1600 Euros per night for a suite. Granted, this is in summer and for a good location, but for this price I would have expected a whole lot more. Only breakfast was provided. There is no gym or sauna or pool, and airport/port transfers are not included as well. This was the most expensive hotel in our entire trip, many other cheaper hotels had pools or 1/2 board included.

2. We set our port pickup at 8am, but early that morning around 6am I realized we would not make it out by 8am, so I asked them to change the pickup time to 9am. They didn't change the pickup time, and on top of that, we were charged a 100+ Euro late fee. This was on top of the 370+ Euro port transfer fee. I would have expected them to absorb this cost, given the huge price we already paid for this room, and the port transfer was supposed to monitor the ship in case of delays.

Dear isonicq, In the grand tale of your journey to the Eternal City, we are honored to have played a part, even as we acknowledge the challenges you faced. From the very moment you arrived, welcomed by our attentive staff and greeted with a refreshing drink on our rooftop, it was our quest to ensure your stay was nothing short of legendary. Your appreciation for our central location, allowing you to walk the storied streets of Rome, echoes the sentiments of countless travelers who have marveled at the city's wonders. The convenience of being near major tourist sites, coupled with the comforts of our spacious suite and powerful air conditioning, is a combination we carefully curate for our guests. We are delighted that your child enjoyed the special amenities we provided, and that our breakfast service, delivered with care and speed, met your expectations. However, as any epic tale has its trials, so did your stay. The value for the price you paid is a point we’ll keep in mind. While summer in Rome indeed drives prices up, we regret that our offerings did not fully meet your expectations, though the absence of facilities such as a gym, sauna, or pool, have to be put in the context. This hotel’s facilities are an historic building straight from the Roaring Twenties. Big modern, American-style hotel buildings are not so many in the center of Rome: sometimes we have to sacrifice some amenities inside the building to create a time machine to experience the journey back in time but with all the comforts of today. Still, we would have been happy to recommend a gym close by or a spa center if you had just asked us. As for including the transfers in the price, we can’t do that because it is by definition an additional service, a service that not all guests will need or decide to take advantage of, so it wouldn’t be right to include that in the price, and the same can be said for any other additional service: we’re ready to provide anything our guests need but we can’t include in the price services they might not want or need. We assure you that the prices of rooms (a suite in your case), have been studied against the average price for hotels of our level of facility and services provided. Regarding the cost of your port transfer and the subsequent fee for the timing change, they came to your discontent, and for this, we are sincerely sorry. However, prices for this kind of service are, once again, studied considering fuel, kilometers, highway fee, TLZ fee among many factors. Prices are clearly communicated and we wouldn’t dare book something you don’t agree to. Please, take note, that, as you said, you saw that you couldn’t make it for 8am that same morning: it is impossible to change the time of the transfer upon the time of arrival of the car service. The driver was already en route to the hotel when you told us that you wanted to postpone the transfer to 9am. The chauffeur has a plan of services he needs to do in the day and if one is late it may be that he’ll lose the other services and thus the fee of them. Of course, emergencies can happen and it’s nobody’s fault but certainly not the driver’s either. We’re sure you understand. It is worth noting, as we aim to enhance every aspect of our service, that we strive to provide exceptional care, even in the face of unforeseen circumstances. The poet Ovid once said, "Dripping water hollows out stone, not through force but through persistence." We take this to heart as we continuously seek to improve and adapt. On a more positive note, we’re glad to know you appreciated the comfort of our location, being so close to all major monuments. It is easy, from here, to explore the hidden treasures of Rome. Have you heard of the talking statues of Rome? These enigmatic figures have been silently (or not so silently) voicing the city's secrets for centuries. From Pasquino to Marforio, these statues provide a whimsical glimpse into the city's rich history and its penchant for satire. Thank you for sharing your story with us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future, where we can strive once more to make your stay as epic and unforgettable as the city itself. There’s little to add about this hotel that hadn’t already been said. It’s an oasis in a busy city snd is such a special place that I was actually sad to leave. The location is fantastic, in a side street off the main via del Corsa and is very close to the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. We walked everywhere including to the Vatican which was an easy 30 minute walk. The hotel itself is stunning and sophisticated and everything is done to make guests feel special. We stayed in a suite which was spotless and large and touches like fresh flowers in the room, the snacks, the turndown at night made it feel luxurious. The breakfast is superb, with a large choice cooked fresh to order and there is a rooftop bar and outside seating area for breakfast, both of which we used in the winter and really added to the appeal of the hotel. The final thing I have to mention is the staff. I have never stayed in a hotel with such attentive staff. They knew us by name, they were all so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate any requests we had, including a room change. I can’t speak highly enough of Manager Frederica who takes customer service to another level. We loved Rome and part of that was because of this stunning hotel and the staff. I genuinely didn’t want to leave and just hope one day we can return.

I've been to many hotels, in many countries. Everything about the Singer Palace Hotel — including, but not limited to, the service and location — puts it at the very top of the places I've ever gone.

Let's start with the location: It's smack in the middle of Rome, minutes from shopping (not our thing), many restaurants, and oodles of tourist locations, from the Panthenon to the Jewish ghetto. We rarely needed to take a taxi anywhere, thanks to the hotel's prime location.

The hotel building itself has been renovated in the most beautiful way. We had a lovely view of the city from our room, and enjoyed eating outside (yes, even in February) at breakfast. Our room was more than large enough for our needs, and was quite pleasant.

The breakfast was also delicious, varied, and plentiful, with a great deal of variety for vegetarians. We had an early flight on our final day, and the kitchen staff was very accommodating, letting us into the breakfast room 10 minutes early -- allowing us to grab a quick meal before rushing off to the airport.

Finally, the staff was uniformly courteous, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. They made restaurant reservations for us, helped us with tickets to galleries and museums, and just generally gave us advice about where to go and what to do.

I cannot think of anything negative to say about the Singer Palace. It was a great experience in every way. If and when I return to Rome, I can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else.

Dear ReuvenLerner, Your enthusiasm for your stay at Singer Palace Hotel is truly infectious! We're delighted to hear that our hotel exceeded your expectations in every possible way, especially since you’re an experienced traveler. Firstly, we're thrilled that you found our location to be so convenient. Being so nestled in the heart of Rome offers our guests easy access to various attractions, ensuring a memorable experience exploring the city's treasures, even the less-known ones like the statue of Pasquino, one of Rome’s talking statues, where people would pin pieces of paper with their discontent against the rich and powerful. Indeed, an odd way to protest but a true part of Rome’s folklore of that time. Moreover, we're pleased that you appreciated the charm of our renovated building and enjoyed the breathtaking views from your room. It's wonderful to know that you found your accommodation spacious and comfortable. Our breakfast selection aims to cater to all dietary preferences, and we're glad you found it delicious and satisfying. Your mention of the kitchen staff's accommodating nature warms our hearts, as ensuring our guests' comfort is our top priority and they really add to the experience with their warm kindness. Much like them, the rest of the staff is a wonderful team that we are truly proud of. We take great pride in providing attentive and helpful personalized service to all our guests, and we're thrilled that our team's efforts contributed to making you feel at home, your home away from home. It was truly our pleasure to host you, and we sincerely hope to welcome you back to Singer Palace Hotel in the future. Carpe Diem, Michela Visocchi - Hotelier

This 5 star chic boutique hotel (original Singer Sewing Machine Corporate offices from the army 1900s) is nestled in a quiet location in central Rome with easy access to the major sites and shopping of course. The staff was the most professional, courteous, attentive team members one could hope for while on vacation. The moment you walk in you feel the understated luxury that adorns the hotel, rooms and rooftop restaurant/lounge. The breakfast on the quaint and trendy rooftop offers beautiful views along with the freshest fruits, and the most delicious selections that will satisfy the most discerning appetite. As you enter the hotel your eyes are transcended on the white swirls of grey marble staircase 5 flights up. Rich woods, glass see through elevator adorn the entire hotel. Front desk reception staff was delightful and attentive. Jessica and Frederica the manager went above and beyond, from restaurant reservations, assistance with anything we inquired about including shopping, and directions to make us feel special. Oh, and to top it off we received an upgrade to a suite! The Singer Palace Hotel made us love Rome even more if that’s possible!

Dear Fredk, What a delightful review you left for us. It’s true that our hotel was originally the headquarters for the famous Singer Sewing Machine Company and it is still a beautiful Art Deco building, now restored to its former glory as an example of how easy it is to find modernity and ancient times in Rome right in the same space. This is exactly how our location is, in the heart of the historical centre, close to all the main monuments but also shops and restaurants, so your holiday is complete with the whole Italian – Roman! - experience. You just have to add knowing the people, the people who are friendly and welcoming because they care about showing you how to have a good time. That’s where our staff comes in, Jessica and Federica two wonderful examples of people ready to show you a true Roman welcome, like old friends you didn’t know you had. … yes, we like to pamper you, even with a nice upgrade to a suite if it is possible, a suite that is a solution unique to Singer Palace Hotel, so that groups can be together without renouncing privacy… a holiday for the mind and for the body… all at Singer Palace Hotel! I don’t even know where to begin with this review - The Singer Palace Hotel is beyond perfect!! This was honestly the best hotel we have ever stayed at and their standards are really something other hotels should take note of.

Hotel: Stunning without being pretentious, beautifully designed & decorated. The restaurant on level 5 and rooftop bar on level 6 are amazing & both with stunning views of the rooftops of Rome. Fantastic location close to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, shopping and only a 10 minute walk to the Spanish Steps & 15 minute walk to Villa Borghese. We were warmly welcomed and given a tour of the hotel to show us where everything was (even asked us if we needed an international adaptor - it’s the little things that count!). Throughout our stay, staff were always smiling, greeted us & remembered our name. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Room: Gorgeous! Spacious by Rome standards, stylish and well equiped. Impeccably clean, comfortable bed, great air conditioning and we were provided with bottled water every day, chocolates, candies and fruit.

Food (Hotel restaurant “Le Terrazze”); I have no words! Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. No buffets with everything made to order and so fresh & delicious. 5 star quality. Extensive gluten free options and always checking for food intolerances (which is important to me). We really knew we were in Italy as they kept wanting to feed us which was all included. Service was impeccable with the loveliest staff! Dinner was the one of the best meals I’ve ever had (we had to eat here again it was that good) and again the staff were so lovely! If you go, order the ravioli - they were heavenly!

Rooftop Bar: Do not miss this if you stay here! Such a great vibe, excellent drinks, snacks, wonderful staff and live DJ (brilliant music!) We did not want to leave!

This hotel really made our stay in Rome & our trip. If you have the chance to stay here, do not hesitate, book it! We will definitely be back one day.

Dear newyorktoparis, You are wrong: we are the ones at a lost as to where to start to thank you for these heartfelt words and detailed recount of your stay. We are deeply honored and humbled by your epic recounting of your experience at the Singer Palace Hotel. It is with immense pride that we read your words, knowing that your stay with us has left such a lasting impression. From the very moment you stepped through our doors, it was our mission to not only meet but to exceed your expectations, crafting a stay that would be etched in your memories. The way you have captured the essence of our hospitality—the hotel’s historic beauty, the staff’s warmth, and their dedication to the smallest details—truly resonates with the spirit in which we operate. Your description of our stunning yet unpretentious design, and the breathtaking views from our rooftop bar and restaurant, speaks to the soul of what we strive to create: an oasis in the heart of the Eternal City. The fact that you found our rooms to be "gorgeous," spacious, and impeccably maintained, mirrors our commitment to offering an extraordinary blend of comfort and elegance, in the body of a stunning Art Deco building restored to its former glory and brought to modern times by all the amenities needed for a luxurious holiday. The care we put into every aspect of your stay, from the welcoming tour to the daily treats in your room, is designed to ensure that every moment is infused with the joy of discovery and the pleasure of indulgence. It warms our hearts to hear your praises for "Le Terrazze," our hotel restaurant. Your delight in our made-to-order breakfast and the meticulous attention to your dietary needs are the hallmarks of our culinary philosophy—where every meal is a celebration of the finest that Italy has to offer. We are thrilled that our ravioli found a special place in your heart; indeed, food in Italy is not just sustenance but a way of expressing love. Did you have chance to try the “Durum-wheat Fusilli with Basil pesto and Buffalo’s milk Stracciatella cheese”? An expression of love by chef Alessandro if we ever saw one! Your experience at our rooftop bar, with its vibrant atmosphere, excellent drinks, and live music, perfectly encapsulates the unique vibe we aim to create—a place where the magic of Rome can be felt with every sunset, every note, and every sip of bartender Federica’s cocktails like the “Roma La Luna e Tu”. Rome is a city of stories, and we are grateful that the Singer Palace Hotel has become a cherished chapter in yours. As you walked the historic streets, just steps away from iconic sites like the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, we hope that the echoes of Rome's glorious past added a deeper dimension to your stay. It is said by Goethe, "We are shaped and fashioned by what we love," and we are truly shaped by the love and passion we pour into every guest's experience. We eagerly await the day when your journeys bring you back to us, so we may welcome you once again with open arms and warm smiles. Until then, may the memories of your stay with us inspire your future adventures. Carpe Diem Michela Visocchi - Hotelier

We felt very welcomed! I came with a 2 year old and my husband, with a lot of communication prior to the trip, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this hotel. Great location, friendly staff and made our stay for our little one with gifts and balloons. Room service was outstanding and we had breakfast in our room though a small charge, about 10 euro a person. We communicated via WhatsApp when we were staying there and everything was met to expectations. I would come back again!

I'm not sure about the vegan items. But send the hotel a note from their website. I fond them to be very responsive.

Dear travelgee, once we are on vacations it is important to be sure that the hotel we book is completely soundproof. Our sleep is sacrosant, of course. As you can read on most of the last reviews we had ( and as lulu795 confirms), our windows are now completely soundproof. The problem we have had one night was due to an unexpected party nearby that has slightly affected just one room. After our complains, the owner of the establishment beside us has taken some measures to avoid this problem in the future. We trust so. We will be happy to have you as soon as possible as our guest: we do love Ohio, have you heard about Lizzy Myers, from Lexington ? She knows me well, we went to visit Pope Francis together... Once you will be here I tell you the whole story ! Kindest regards Maurizio D. Customer Relations Manager

Are coffee machines available in the room?
Rome, Italy41 contributions
Dear 999jennif, what a pleasure to answer a question concerning coffee... caffé, a true Italian must. In the room we have kettles with a selection of teas, instant coffee, etc. To have a good espresso but we just call it :"caffé", you may come to the fifth floor and we will be happy to offer it to you. If you want to have a short walk instead, go to " Sant'Eustachio Caffé", beyond the Pantheon, by the Italian Senate, a true myth. We are looking forward to meeting you ! And your caffé ... as well!
