I booked a double room at Roma Da Noi through Booking.com for 2 nights in early November. The price seemed very good at 55Euro per night from what I saw in the pictures. I was a bit wary, but hoped for a decent place. I was looking for something close to the Termini Station for a quick visit before our...

We stayed at Roma da Noi B&B for 3 nights almost a year now but the trip is still memorable! Our flight in from the Netherlands was delayed for about 4 hours so we were very late getting in. But we were met in the middle of the night by a very friendly lady who was working for the B&B....

We stayed in the apartment rather than the B+B and were very pleased with our choice ( http://www.romadanoi.it/romadanoi_new/cv/cv_eng_casavacanze.php ). The beds were comfortable and the location is ideal for catching the Metro or a bus to anywhere else in the city. There around the train station is rarely the most appealing part of a town but this street is lively...

Nice hotel as a base. A little noisy from air conditioning units cutting in and out. We arrived late and had to go next door to ask for the owner to let us into the hotel. We waited 5 mins or so but the staff in the bar were helpful. They helped us in the lift with our bags. We...

Clean and spacious rooms (for the price). There is an elevator that brings you up to Roma Da Noi, but it would only allow 2 passengers in (with luggage) at the same time. The breakfast was minimal with a croissant and a drink (coffee/tea/hot chocolate..) but it was excellent. They serve the best croissant that I had in my whole...

Travelling anywhere in Europe may be costly due to expensive accommodation I arrived here on the 27th of May after a 24 hour journey to a welcoming accommodation. They were already waiting for us at 9pm at night n was constantly on the lookout such that we were greeted right on the street. After a quick check in we got...

I became ill while traveling through Italy, and made it as far as the main train station in Rome (Termini) at 11:00PM. My fiancee found us a room at Roma da noi Hotel just a block away from the train station. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. It was large, clean, quiet and comfortable with a...

We spent three days in Rome with my family. This B&B is situated near the Central Station of Rome (within 5 min walk). When we arrived in front of the hotel we were disappointed. However inside it was very different. This B&B is located in the third floor of a building consisting of many hotels. The room is very clean...

Spent a week in Rome and its where abouts with my family. Room at the third floor of this B & B guesthouse. A small lift will save you climbing up all the stairs. Not impressive from the outside but inside was quite different. Nice clean room with bathroom, LDC tv, WI FI, air condition, small fridge and hair drier....

We really didn't know what to expect and depended on previous reviews. A short walk from the train station the perfect location for getting where we wanted to go. Hotel has a lift so no struggling with suitcases up endless stairs. We were greeted and welcomed by "Mamma" and then daughter Barbara. Room was immaculate and suited our needs. Lots...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“all of the rooms in general are great. We've been accommodated in one looking at the back yard which doesn't have some view, but for me it was enough light during the day and not to much congested with nearby buildings.”

“Our room faced the inner courtyard-not much to look at, but no noise from the street. You could also smell baking in the morning! NIce :)”

“The apartment has one twin room overlooking an internal space within the block and a double overlooking the street. There is not much of a sitting area - just a couple of chairs in the hall and more in the kitchen, but the bedrooms are big and comfortable.”
