We all travel with different needs. The constant I wanted coming from the USA was friendly and helpful hosts in the cities we chose to visit as first time visitors. With La Papessa, you get that. Both Caterina and Loredana are very helpful and easy to make arrangements with, given your particular travel arrangements before and during your visit. We...

I booked two nights in La Pappessa for an aniversary trip for my parents. They don't travel very often and were a bit worried about traveling by themselves. However Caterina was so helpful and made them feel so welcome. The Room was lovely and in a great location.

La Papessa is a 4-room B&B centrally located 5 minutes away from Trevi Fountain, close to other attractions, and very well communicated through the buses network (there's a stop in front). Caterina and Loredana made us feel literally at home, helping us define what to do and where to eat in Rome. Room was great, carefully decorated. With a nice...

This bed and breakfast flat is very centrally placed with the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Vittore Emanuele Monument all within about a five minute walk and right in the middle of a major shopping street with many brands and designer shops literally on the doorstep. The property can be difficult to find at first and would benefit from a sign...

The B&B was centrally located to most of the historical spots in Rome. Staff was very friendly and provides their personal numbers in case of emergencies or needing information. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Very nice place to stay!

Skip the big hotels, and rental apartments; I love this centrally located intimate, small and gracious hotel in Rome. Excellent continental breakfast, with good coffee, fresh fruit and baked goodies. The staff go beyond accommodating, just ask. Remember, this is central Rome, within walking distance to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona and a step from the bus line...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
